F-ing delicious

Feel like a local, enjoy the authentic ambience and excellent service. Get a seat at the counter and watch the masters at work preparing your sumptuous food. This is the pinnacle of katsu in Japan. Just make the effort and go and don't think twice.

Visited coz of the very positive reviews and we were not disappointed. Tried the normal pork loin tonkatsu and the more expensive fatty one, which is even tastier and worth spending a few extra yen. English menu now also available. Recommended!

This is a favourite spot for us for a working lunch. The restaurant is renowned for its Tonkatsu. For the uninitiated, this is a panko breaded pork steak and is served with shredded cabbage, barbecue sauce and mustard. Our lunch always comes with rice and miso, so you will not leave hungry.

You can enjoy delicious Japanese style Tonkatsu, the pork cutlette here and attendees are very delight and friendly. Unfortunately there is no English menu however one of attendee explained in English properly. Snd also you can enjoy amazing Japanese tatami interior!

Wonderful meal. Excellent portions and top quality pork! Service was wonderful and the ambience was superb. Even the rice that was offered was top quality. Recommend to anyone visiting Yokohama.

Simply the best Tonkatsu sauce you'll find. Delicious Tonkatsu served with shredded cabbage, boiled rice and miso soup....

I've been eating at Katsuretsuan for decades and the tonkatsu has never disappointed. They have multiple locations in the Yokohama area and they are all very good. The crown jewel of the restaurant is the sauce. Like most tonkatsu restaurants you can get unlimited extra shredded cabbage to enjoy with the sauce, too.

Tracked down this restaurant thanks to the glowing reviews on TripAdvisor during my 1 day stay in Yokohama. As the website was in Japanese, was only able to get to its Bashamachi Ave after a good 15 min from Kannai Station and thanks to many helpful locals. The restaurant is actually just right the corner from Richmond Hotel (chef landmark).... More
