I had the best sushi of my life and it was at an airport. I was in Narita for a 2 hour layover so only had one shot at eating in Japan. After hearing some call this the best airport dining option in the world I had to try it. We were not disappointed it was awesome. They were sold... More

Of all the surprises one can have especially on a horribly long lay over is that in the Narita Airport there is just wonderful Sushi Kyotatsu to ease your pain and in my case my ire at the organization that stuck me there. But, and there is always a but, things work out. The discovery of Sushi Kyotatsu was a... More

During a transit for work, decided to give try to this Sushi restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the superb service and the good quality of food. it is a little pricey but if you have 30 min to spare it is worth the money.

I stopped in Sushi Kyotatsu during a long layover on a flight to Singapore. This is one we stumbled upon via Google, and once seeing the very positive Trip Advisor reviews decided to give it a shot. We were very impressed with the quality of fish. Our table shared yellow tail, salmon, tuna, and BBQ eel sushi, as well as... More

Great Sushi while transiting. The Tuna plate and some hot green tea! The staff is friendly and the service is quick. Spicy tuna roll from the to go window is also great for a long flight.

One of the best sushi places I have been to. Not sure how it compares to places outside the airport but definitely on par or better than sushi in Chicago. It is pricy - I had a few pieces and green tea and my total tab was $80. Def worth checking out, especially if you have a short layover!

It's the perfect rest stop for the long haul travellers needing a well deserved service and quality sushi/sashimi. Staff are friendly and attentive. Seating not too cramped. The hot towel is such a refreshing gesture. Simple menu but just what the guests need. Quality and fresh fish. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend any traveller who needs a nice simple meal while... I had an hour to spare between flights and this place was clearly popular, and clearly efficient. You can grab your Sushi to go or dine in so I did both! I had a grilled salmon roll and California roll. I ate one there and took the other for my flight to LA. Staff spoke some English, they were very... More

"Last chance to enjoy good sushi and good sake" - that's what's advertised on a pillar right across from Gate 33 at Narita Airport's Terminal 1. Well, they're not wrong - the food IS awfully good. You can tell because the restaurant's usually full, there's a queue waiting to get in, and even airline pilots are ordering some to take-away.... More

I got what I paid for. There are plenty of dining options in Narita. It's easy to enjoy different kinds of food options. Tho food needs to be experienced, even in the most unusual places to find authentic food. Kyotatsu sells value, not only sushi. The experience was authentic and fun. Fresh ingredients, the octopus just melted in my mouth,... More
