This tiny restaurant ticks all the boxes for having a great meal experience. The set menu for ¥2,500 was great value. Three Lovely appetisers to start, then scallops, followed by salad, next up came sautéed chicken, really moist and flavoursome, then garlic rice and soup, all finished with small portion of cheesecake. Service was perfect, not rushed but not slow... More

Nice cosy place, we ordered the Sakura set, lot of food and tasty. Seems Japanese cuisine with a nice west twist. Food was really good. If you are in town I recommend it.

Lovely small little place - maybe 20 seats in all of which a handful at the bar. Set menus on offer but we chose individual plates. Highlights were scallops, prawns on a hot grill and wagyu steak pieces. All cooked on the teppan in front of the bar. Also had a very nice malt beer (suntory dark). Would definitely go... More

Food in Japan is of an incredibly high standard across the board. Every single restaurant we have gone to has served brilliant food - but Teppan Ku-Ya has taken the cake so far. We had a very reasonably priced set menu, consisting of six courses, which was absolutely incredible. A combination of perfectly cooked food and amazing flavours have made... More

We tried the set menus, with butter fried scallops, wagyu beef, garlic fried rice, black sesame ice cream, miso soup etc etc etc and everything was delicious! Very reasonably priced too, and in a lovely environment. If you can sit at the bar, do so. Enjoy!

The yagyu beef is ... There are no words to tell how good it is!! And they serve it with wasabi and delicous sauces and grilles vegetables.... It melts in your mouth. The takoyaki, the salads, the black sesame ice cream... One of the best food we've had in Japan : you must go there!! And the staff and cook... More
