A few months ago my uncle passed from a severe stroke. The family decided to go to Russo's for our after funeral lunch. A sad time but a pleasant experience for all who attended. The food and service was great.

Kind of disappointed by what was a family recommended neighborhood pizzeria restaurant. Dinner portions looked huge, but pizza has really thick bread like crust, not NYC style at all. Unlikely to stop back and try dinners, with so many known Italian eateries of higher quality.

Tried an array of food from pizza, apps, and sandwich! Roast beef on russo bread good- extra $ for l.t.o., cheese and dressing not necessary, also apps was good but small portion for price, pizza was good but once again price to high. You'd think w/prices this high the place wouldnt still look like it is still stuck in 1920,... More

Russo's has an antipasto that is called "the Sicilian Antipasto". It is your regular antipasto BUT it has fried eggplant, roasted red peppers and artichoke hearts. This can be a meal in itself or you can share it and couple it with one of their enormous turkey or roast beef sandwiches.

A sandwich from Russo's is something everyone should try. The bread is fabulous and the size of the sandwich is great. I love stopping to have a great meal at a reasonable price.

Three of our party of 10 ordered the cheeseburger--at approximately $7.00--just for the burger and a slice of cheese--nothing else. You had to pay extra for lettuce and tomato, onions, etc. at $.79 for each topping. No mayo or mustard--just an overcooked, dry burger. It was hard to choke the thing down it was so dry. If we wanted fries,... More

Consistently prepared food with no surprises. Russos is known for their pizza and its always very good with your traditional toppings. All of your favorite basics are on the menu including chicken parm, sausage dinners and egg plant. Their oversized roast beef is still as good as it was back in the 60's.Its a local hometown bar & grill surrounded... More

Once again we went to Russo's of Amsterdam - were going to get our meal to go but then some friends also wanted to join us - so we called them and it was no problem changing our order to there rather than to go - were seated right away and our food came out shortly - love the home... More
