In 1980, the Raindancer Restaurant, located at 4582 Route 30, was established by Doreen and Walter Porath. This family-run business has grown considerably during the past 35 years. In an effort to stay current and better serve the community, the restaurant has had numerous additions, renovations and creative concepts that were implemented to keep things fresh. This constant improvement, combined with the old-fashioned notion of ample portions, quality ingredients, top-notch service and the community support we have continued to receive, has kept the Raindancer at the top of everyone's dining list throughout the years. At the Raindancer, we offer different menus for all occasions. Whether it's a quiet, romantic dinner, casual dining, take-out and party platters or to help you plan a party, the Raindancer is here for you. We have multiple dining rooms available to help make that special occasion something extra special. We offer a banquet menu that can be customized to fit your special occasion. We can accommodate for bereavement luncheons, bridal and baby showers, rehearsal dinners, receptions or company business meetings. We are open year-round with the exceptions of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Memorial Day. For all other holidays, we offer dinner features such as a traditional Thanksgiving dinner or a Mother's Day or Easter dinner for your family. Our dinner and lite fare (lunch) menus are available throughout the restaurant anytime. Choose from a selection of over 80 items on our menu and our daily feature board (Polish Night is every Tuesday). Plus, we offer an exceptional salad bar with breads baked in-house daily. If you plan to eat at any earlier hour, we offer an early bird menu seven days a week. The Raindancer also offers any of our menu items, party platters and features for take-out (except the early bird menu). Just call ahead and your order will be ready at our pickup window. And if you're just looking for a quick bite to eat, then join us in our cocktail lounge and enjoy great food, great atmosphere and a wide variety of wines and beer alongside one of our fireplaces. We offer over 80 Wines by the glass and 20 different beers on tap. The Raindancer Restaurant opens at 11:30 am, Monday through Saturday and at 12:30 p.M. On Sundays. We look forward to seeing you for lunch, dinner or your next special occasion.

I have been going to the Raindancer for 35 plus years and I have never been disappointed in the quality of the food or the service. Their steaks and prime rib are second to no one. The salad bar and deserts are out of this world. Look forward to many more visits to the Raindancer.

This is my 1st poor rating since I have been posting reviews on Trip Advisor. I am giving it a poor rating not for the food which is always good but for the experience we had. My family ( 9 in our group) was celebrating the fact that my father made it through heart surgery. This is one of his... More

I am so sorry your recent experience at the Raindancer was not as enjoyable as it could have been. While I am glad to hear your food was good as "always", I am sorry your table was not to your liking. We try to accommodate seating preferences, but sometimes it is not possible. The table you mentioned that was empty... More

I have been going to the Raindancer for over 30 years. I have eaten in restaurants from Maine to Florida as well as Las Vegas and California. I have never had a better prime rib dinner than at this restaurant. The service is also excellent as is the salad bar. I have also tried several other entrees but also go... More

Amsterdam is a NY "city" that has a lot of history, an old city with a lot of new growth. We had been to the Raindancer before and wanted to take some friends for dinner. We were not disappointed. It has a lot of different rooms, each decorated differently. We made reservations and were seated immediately. We were seated in... More

i have been here 4 times and each time hasn't been the best experience. The first time I ordered their seafood casserole for $22.00 and when they brought it to the table there was a 1/4" layer of grease on top and it was made with fake crab! The second time we made our reservation for 6 and we were... More

I came with a large party for lunch after a funeral. We had one server for 30 people. She was wonderful and kept our drinks filled. The salad bar was nice but $4.99 WITH an entree for lunch. She said it's more for dinner. The French Onion soup was awesome. Some of the best I have had and I adore... More

Standard American fare which rarely disappoints but is not expected to excel! Very popular with very good service and terrific salad bar.

When we don't have time to sit in for a great meal we will call and order take out. The filet and blue salad is always delicious and my husband likes the chicken Parmesan.
