Nice Diner, food was ok but not great. Plenty of parking. Spacious interior. Good service. Price is good. Offers many specials.

We got take out from the Olympia Diner - I had the Reuben - and French fries my husband had the roast beef sandwich with fries - both very good. We also got the chicken and rice soup - it is not as good as it used to be they do a ok breakfast and open at 7am - there... More

Well, for once, my experience isn't worse than everyone else. Had lunch here recently and it was middle of the road edible food. Couldn't find any other place that wasn't fast food in Amsterdam, so picked the diner. Had swordfish special with carrots, spinach and too much liquid. It was good, but no better. My friend had corned beef and... More

Four of us went for dinner tonight and it was very disappointing. The soup was lukewarm. One of our salads didn't come until we reminded the waitress. The stuffed shrimp was all breading and a tiny piece of shrimp in the middle. We were served regular french fries instead of the sweet potato fries we ordered. When we complained to... More

We thought you couldn't ruin breakfast....we were wrong. The Eggs Benedict had Canadian bacon missing and the sauce was looked curdle. Potatoes were mush and pancakes were overcooked. Pick another place to eat.

Used to be a safe bet for good food, but our last visit the service was good but the food well below average. Unless there is a dramatic change, this place is off our list of places to go. It's a shame how bad the food has gotten.

Seeing dirty handprints on the door glass always sets off a warning bell for me, but there are precious few options for breakfast in this area, especially on a Sunday morning. The omelet wasn't bad, but it was served with a mass of oddly seasoned home fries, and the toast was barely toasted... more like dried bread. The server was... More

Lost a little time and money gambling on this "diner". We sometimes can't resist the urge to pull into a roadside diner and hopefully stumble upon some gem. That was not to be the case at the Olympic. Our waitress, Diane, provided friendly, fast, and attentive service, but the extensive menu (american, greek, mexican, cajun, seafood) should have set off... More

Updated from the old Windmill Restaurant, the Olympia Diner still has excellent service and great selection of good food. The managers go out of their way to ensure each visit is a good visit. Rich, fresh-baked desserts finish out the meal. We enjoy dining at the Olympia when we shop in Amsterdam.

The last time we ate here it was the Windmill Diner. Always crowded, exccellent food and service. This time, the parking lot was nearly empty on a Saturday night, and so was the restaurant. Not sure why - our food was good, nothing outstanding, but hot, freshly prepared, and pretty tasty. I had the pork parmigiana, which was quite nice,... More
