Our group was warmly greeted upon our arrival and we were immediately shown a table. Our server, Karen took care of us like we were the only table she had. The menu is extensive and each and every meal served was "to die for". The portions are huge, you receive much more than the prices would lead you to believe!... More

Not much to look at from the outside but has a comfortable white table-cloth atmosphere on the inside. $90 for 3 drinks and 4 very large meals, which included a great soup and average salad. Excellent bar; fantastic wine selection; need to add cheesecake to the dessert menu. This place was outstanding in every regard. We will be back. The... More

Our group of 8 dined here on the evening of 8/21. Atmosphere was beautiful, warm & welcoming. We were told there was a shortage of servers that evening but we certainly didn't realize it. Karen took care of us as if we were the only people in the place. The food was excellent, without exception! We had some great meals... More

The chicken and fettuccine Alfredo was delicious. I asked to have roasted peppers, el dente broccoli, and capers added. They gladly accommodated my request. It came with homemade soup, fresh salad with multiple mixed greens, and homemade garlic bread. All this for less than $20 (that included tax). The meal was delicious and was a generous serving that I could... More

We're there quite often (twice this last week) and I never think to do a review-it's like home to us and we get treated like family. My nephew and his wife were on their way to Boston from Buffalo and stopped here in Amsterdam to say a quick hello and have a bite to eat... naturally, we went to the... More

Amsterdam NY is out in the middle of nowhere. On occasion its necessary for me to go to the next town over, Canajoharie, for work. I've had no luck finding a good place for dinner in Canajoharie, so decided to venture further away. One of our coworkers recommended Parillo's. What a surprise! Its a third generation establishment. The mom, Julie,... More

Parrillos is lacking in location but the food makes up for it. The warm bread and oil with salad starter could leave me satisfied, then the large plates of pasta with the best true Italian gravy in the area. Waitstaff is busy but attentive as possible. Wish I lived closer!!!

Parillo's Armory Grill is definitely a very good place for traditional Italian food. I had the Veal Theresa which was very good - hot, fresh, tasty. My wife ordered the Bella Jacqueline chicken dish, and also liked it. The service a bit annoying/slow, but, to be fair, they were very busy. The bar is a good time, but the house... More

We looked forward to dining again at the Armory Grill, but last Saturday, 12/21/13, was such a disappointment. Up until this time we have always loved everything about this restaurant. Two of us ordered the Veal 3-Cheese dinner special, and when it arrived it was cold and we could not even cut it with our knife, it was so tough.... More

Definitely a good place for regular Italian food. Homemade chicken noodle soup was delicious and the salad also was very good. My husband had a seafood pasta dish that he enjoyed, and I wish I would have done the same.. I ordered braciole, and it was dry and very spicy and almost impossible to cut. The service was very good,... More
