Good sushi for a fair price

Stumbled on this restaurant on the 4th floor and saw a line of waiting locals, mostly a good sign for a restaurant. We made a reservation with an approximate waiting time of about 1 hour, just enough time for an onsen in our neigbouring hotel. The quality of the sushi is good and not expensive... read more

This had been recommended to us by friends who lived in the area as a good spot for a quick snack. It's in the shopping centre next to the station (take the east exit) on the 6th floor, towards the back. I can only speak for the system at lunchtime, but you put in your details at an electronic reservation... More

This restaurant was strongly recommended by the staff at our guesthouse/hostel and no wonder: such an amazing value for great quality sushi blew our minds; only at a kaitensushi joint in Japan (and what more in Kanazawa, right next to the ocean) can you gorge yourself on ootoro (melt-in-your-mouth super fatty tuna) nigiri without breaking the bank?! We heard that... More

We got off our bus from Sharagawa around 2pm. We were hungry so decided to find something to eat quickly. This place is conveniently located on the 6th floor in the shopping centre next to the station and reasonably priced. I would recommend it if you need a quick bite near the station. Otherwise, go to the market for more... More

On the 6th floor of a very nice shopping center. Always a good sign when there is a queue outside. No name in english outside, so check the picture. Moving trail with plates to pick, order more via ipad attached at your table. Very little englisch spoken, but very friendly and helpfull staff.

Conveniently located next to the rail station. On the same floor, there are around 6-7 restaurants and this was the only one that had a long queue waiting outside. Hence, as a visitor, I trust this one should be good and did not get disappointed. Very smart menu using a touch-screen and with English and Chinese translation. Good variety of... More

This experience has put us off turning to TripAdvisor straight away for restaurant recommendations.. We ate this straight off the train (GoogleMaps directed us to the wrong place - really should have just looked at the address to begin with). We came at 2pm and were originally given a numbered ticket. We didn't quite understand as there were heaps of... More

We were very excited to try Morimori sushi, as we had come across excellent reviews both on Tripadvisor and on travel blogs, and it definitely did not disappoint! We arrived at around 3pm for a late lunch - the restaurant is on the 6th floor of FORUS mall, which is right next to Kanazawa station. Look for the building with... More

Mori Mori will absolutely make you come for More the next visit. Indeed a kaiten sushi place but absolutely fresh affordable compared to the others that we had in Osaka or Tokyo. This is a must stop for those who loves sushi!

My husband and I ate here twice during our 2 days in Kanazawa. The sushi was fresh and tasty. I also loved the matcha green tea you made yourself and refilled as much as you liked.......we both went away very full both times for $45 - $49.00 for the 2 of us.....
