We were told Hida beef is some of the best. We were told correctly. We had A3 filet mignon and all very happy. The service and atmosphere were excellent to match the food. Best meal in Japan for me.

We had an A-4 and an A-5 sirloin. Both med rare, both exceptional. Sure it's pricey, but definately worth it. Skilled staff, quality produce. Wine list a bit of a let down next to the meat. Go for the meat, savour every mouthful. On a personal level, we preferred the A-4.

Chose this place out of a couple and liked it very much. Relaxed service pleasantly executed. Steak was great and first try at Sake. CARE, the sake comes in a 300ml bottle — was expecting simply a glass! Wine reasonably priced.

Food was yum. Melt in your mouth beef and assortment of Japanese styles. Good value beef is hard to find in Japan but this place was great.
