Not recommended by our dive centre (not locals, only been open a year?), however, we were really glad we gave it a go - twice. Set in opposite the mosque behind the Hilton, this is a bustling vibrant area with horse drawn carriages flying through with flashing lights, music blaring, people clapping... (very entertaining!) at the same time as call... More

Location: ideally placed in the middle of a ton of other food joints. The cafe has a nice vibe to it with its decor adding to a bit of a rustic old world charm. Food: this part was alright. The mixed grill was good, the lamb sagiiyah left much to be desired. When we asked for dessert the waiter said... More

We ate here twice in October and we came back the second time as we wanted to eat INSIDE. The restaurant itself is an experience. The walls are covered in memorabilia and "artefacts" of all kinds. We spent time just looking at the décor. Outside was good as well because it was cooler and gave on the street, which was... More

We visited on the night of the world cup final (which was shown live on the big). This was billed as the sister cafe to Jafra in Amman, though it has now been bought out by the current management. However, the menu is identical. We ordered a few dishes, but while our drinks came promptly our food took forever -... More

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, fast service, delicious food, variety of choices and excellent price. The photos and decoration of the place can give you a glance about the history of Palestine's struggle.

The owner of the restaurant recommended us an authentic Jordanian meal, which was so good! We also had greatest black coffee in the world with knafe (arabic dessert). We've met kind and nice people, enjoyed the meal and were surprised by the price at the end (in a good way :)) Highly recommended!

A very atmospheric restaurant with very good local unexpensive dishes . We recommend the lamb kofta with tahina sauce, makhlube and the hummus with meat

I also come here for the goat cheese pizza, although last time I ordered it, it wasn't thin and crispy, but fluffy, thick, and chewy, like a ny pan style pizza. Was still good though. As for other dishes, they usually come in hearty portions fresh in oversized skillets, which is a good thing. Keep the portions good, and people... More
