Excellent kebab. Friendly service. Downstairs was closed but upstairs is fully open and actually nicer. The lemonade with nana was very good: lost of nana !

Lovely place in the center of the older parts of town. We went there twice and it did not disappoint. The terrace is nice with the view of the mosque and the service is very friendly. We were served by Sabri (spelling?) and we got more food than we ordered both times. A good mix of many dishes served with... More

The food was very good, brought fast and the view of the mosque was nice. The prices were normal and you can say even small keeping in mind is a tourist area.

I ate one lunchtime at Al-Shami because it is recommended on trip advisor - I sat on the veranda overlooking the mosque which is nice - the service is good but I found the food average, and preferred one or two of the other restaurants I ate at in Aqaba.

Food - fish on the Fishermans basket was extremely tasty; easily one of the best dishes we tried in Jordan. The Mixed Grill was huge & the shish kebab & lamb chops both being highlights. Excellent value for money. Location - short easy walk from the beach hotels. Great view of the nearby Mosque and the beach from outdoor seating... More

Eaten here a couple of times and liked it. Food is local cuisine and the restaurant is frequented by locals. Good value. Downside is they presented the bill without tax and service charge, although the menu says this is added. Confusing! Better to ask.
