Sought it out because of the good reviews and it was worth it. Thought it was closed as the ground floor shopfront was closed, however the entrance is up the stairs just round the corner. Basic, but tasty food at a good price.

I just had dinner at Al-Shami with my wife based only on the reviews here. The place doesn't look special but the food was great. We had lentil soup, mixed seafood grill and green salad. The portions were big and the prices very reasonable and the food is delicious. Sabri provided a great service and his recommendations were excellent. Myself... More

This place was recommended by our dive centre after eating at Ali Baba the night before. He said it was good local food, much cheaper than Ali Baba, with great fish. After eating there, I concur! We had walked past this place the night before and it doesn't look any great shakes from the outside and it is pretty basic.... More

We come here for fish and the food was good. Overall a little salty but everything was fresh and delicious. The price was reasonable. We had grilled fish and some appetizers. If we return to Aqaba I would eat here again.

Went into Three Steps just to check out the menu but ended up staying. Very good indeed. Their home-made bread is excellent, all food home cooked and well presented. Good value. The owner really cares!

This was the best food I had anywhere in Jordan, and the view during sunset is the best as it looks out to the Red Sea, but come early to get an outdoor seat or sit by the window

Rated number 1, but not that great. No one was eating at the restaurant, the food was good but not amazing.

Good Resturant. The meat and fish dishes were good. Great view at sunset time. First dish took some time to arrive.

From the outside it looks like a place you should avoid. But get a seat in the upper floor, and you will be served great local dishes at reasonable prices. And good service, too. Upper floor has outdoor seatings too, with a view of the mosque and sea.
