Famous old restaurant

This restaurant has been around for decades. It is a mainstay on the main street of town. As long as you don't arrive at a time with a tour group, then your service is generally good and quick. The decor inside is nice. The food has always been tasty. Nevertheless, it is one of the more expensive... read more

Ali Baba is one of Aqaba's best seafood restaurants. I found it to be above average. The service is hit or miss, just like most places in Aqaba. I recommend trying this place.

I had dinner in this restaurant. I ordered some salad and grilled fish. The salad did not taste good. The fish tasted very good. in general I liked the food, but it was pricey. Later I found that you can get similar food 40% cheaper in other similar restaurants in the area. The staff were OK, but not very professional.... More

Ali baba is well knows with their sea food platters, am not a fan of sea food, so I ordered mixed BBQ platter, it was good, hummus was a bit old, they don't serve alcohol during Ramadan, prices are a bit expensive

We were 4 friends & ordered 4 different dishes & appetisers. The portions are OK although other restaurants put larger portions. The problem was in the taste of the food. The spices or combinations of flavors used are not acceptable. None of us enjoyed his or her plate, even the appetisers! the place itself is not attractive, dark from inside... More

Over-rated restaurant, offering mediocre food (generally over-cooked), and over-priced (for Aqaba) - tourist orientated, and it shows!. Much better fish restaurants are available within 300m of Ali Baba

Alibaba gets busy and there’s lots of pressure on the outdoor tables. This is partly because it’s very pleasant to sit outside but also perhaps because the rather feeble air-conditioning doesn’t seem to make it noticeably cooler inside. Fish was fresh and available for choice from the cool counter, where the fish was on ice. Nice presentation and beautifully, if... More

We had been recommended a fish restaurant in Aqaba but as this restaurant didn't serve wine we went for the second recommendation of Ali Baba's. Although Ali Baba has a wide ranging menu, we went for the fish option. We were taking a long time to decide but the wonderful waiter took us inside to look at the range of... More

Locals suggested to fave lunch or dinner at Ali Baba. I've tried fish; it was fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly and the price reasonable.
