Friendly service but the place is overrated.

We've been going to Ali Baba ever since I was a child and it's always been good. I feel that it's become too touristic and that affected the standards, especially when it comes to starters like salads. We had the sea bass and it was 20jds /kilo. It was nice and fresh but there was nothing... read more

When a restaurant is full that's normally good sign and we entered because of this reason. Both meat and sea food was tasty, service was little delayed but they sad kitchen is full and apologized. A lof of varity of food and relatively good priced.

We ate once in this restaurant - it is well known for seafood. There were tourists and locals eating whilst we were there and it is clearly a popular venue. The service was very good with very attentive staff. Some of the food was very good, but some lacked taste. That maybe personal, as I'm not a great lover of... More

I have talked with many people. Both people that live here in Aqaba and others that don't. We all agree on one thing. Ali Babi is an outstanding restaurant. Not only is the service outstanding. The food is beyond exceptional. Please explore the menu. I doubt you will be disappointed. This restaurant will not leave you disappointed.

We've been to Ali Baba twice in the last two months, and both times the food was delicious. We've especially enjoyed the fried fish platter and the Sayadieh (a spicy fish dish). Also, the stuffed vine leaves are excellent. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. I am sure we will be back the next time we are in Aqaba.

I went to this restaurant for the first time back in 1989 , when it opened. I have to say that during the years it kept the high standards and I always go back with pleasure. I don't think it is much more expensive than other restaurants in Aqaba. The atmosphere is very pleasant , the food is very good... More

Good food, though a little pricy for the type of venue. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lamb cutlets were very good.

This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. We ordered a few appetizers and I had the mixed grill. The food was delicious but it came with fries and bread and I would have preferred rice and maybe some vegetables. I would suggest sitting further away from the kitchen as the noise seems to carry through the... More
