we try to have something different every time we come in here, which is about once a week, as it turns out... kitchen is able to handle tricky orders, slightly "off the menu," despite what seem to be language difficulties... they tried to wave us off the Singapore chicken, fearing we wouldn't care for its many bones and ginger tang,... Ordered a spicy seafood dish with vegetables and meat called a Happy Family. Seafood and vegetables were fresh. Wanted fried rice instead of white rice which came with the order. Would have paid extra for fried rice but received a quart of house fried rice for a big extra charge. Food 4 stars Takeout phone no stars Fax or email... More

Always have a meal here during a Buffalo area trip. Delicious, authentic Chinese at a great value. Don't miss Red Pepper when in the area!

Red Pepper has freshly prepared vegetables and meat. It does not have overcooked food that is typical of Chinese food. Food arrives quickly.

Small family restaurant, deceiving from the outside. Very delicious food. I ate food I had never tried before and am glad I did. The portions are very large. Attentive staff, clean restaurant.

I especially enjoyed the Vietnamese food. The owner is actually from Vietnam . However his Chinese food is outstanding. I especially enjoyed the Orange Shrimp. extra spicy when ordered with individual chili peppers. the luncheon items are very inexpensive and very large portions.

They have a great menu and are always busy. Many Asian UB students go here, which simply means its a good value and delicious.

Located in a small shopping area usually does not automatically deem a restaurant not good. However, this time, it did. The service was decent but the food was a disappointment. My husband ordered a dish of 1/2 duck and 1/2 veggies. He got a platter full of duck (no way that was half a duck!) and some overcooked vegetables. I... More

I just grabbed some garlic chicken to take back to the hotel. The staff was a little stiff but not rude, just disinterested. The food seemed a notch above the traditional Chinese take out. The price was very reasonable. I came here because the yelpers loved this place. They did not steer me wrong but I was not blown away.... More

My husband and I LOVE this place! The lunch specials are a GREAT deal. However, dinner prices are reasonable and portion sizes increase. We've eaten in and have ordered takeout as well. When eating in, you get a glass of water and a pot of black tea (this doesn't cost extra), in addition to some fried wonton strips with a... More
