Great Family Restaurant

Our group made a last minute decision to go to lunch after a memorial service. The restaurant accommodated our party of 10 even providing us with separate checks. The food was excellent as well a the service. The menu is extensive enough to accommodate everyone's taste and I don't think you can... read more

Family style restaurants in Wisconsin, where I am from, typically have large menus, you are greeted with a smile and you are treated like family, service is wonderful, you get a lot of food and prices are relatively inexpensive. Quite honestly - without stereotyping these kind of establishments - I would have thought they were all the same no matter... More

We picked up food for the family after surgery. Everyone was able to chose what they liked. Great rice pudding and lemon rice soup. Fish portions were large. Wishing they had delivery for my family. I live out of town and wish I could send dinner periodically.

A friend chose The Family Tree for a girl's breakfast.....Not impressed at all. There is a large menu and the prices are low, but the service is painfully slow and it just looks dated and worn out to me. It took quite some time after we were seated to have our order taken, and we were in a bit of... More

All of the Greek dishes are good - I like the Greek Fish and and the Buffalo Fish Fry best. Large restaurants with plenty of seating and big parking lot - crowded but almost never a wait. The "Family" has a long and successful history in Buffalo.

A little off the beaten path in a neighborhood is the Family Tree. Large parking lot outside, and ample seating inside. Lots of windows provide a bright sunny atmosphere. We were promptly served by a very pleasant waitress. Service was friendly and quick. The food was cool (omelette and fried potatoes. French toast and sausage) and so disappointing. When we... More

Have eaten at the Family Tree a number of times. Service as always been exceptional with Danielle, our recommended server. She's on top of her job and serves with a smile. The food is typical Greek food and "cook like Mom" types. Veggies are overcooked to say the least. Home fries and liver dinner are good. Greek meals are decent,... More

Family tree has been here forever. The food is always OK, but nothing special. Don't be intimidated by the long line. You will be seated faster than you think.

I'm not sure any thing on my plate was fresh or real. Fake mashed potatoes, canned gravy, stove top stuffing.
