I really enjoyed my food here. Most of us ordered the special of Chilean sea bass. The piece of fish was delicious and was a very generous portion. The mushroom risotto and caprese were also great. Love the homey atmosphere.

Yes...the atmosphere, the smells, and the food will take you as close as you can get to being on the Grand Canal in Venice without actually being there. I highly recommend the Branzino (Sea Bass) with a pesto cream and roasted pine nuts if it's on the menu. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of... More

When you look over the extensive menu you quickly realize this is not your average Italian restaurant, each item has an impressive list of sauces and accompaniments. Where else would you expect to find wild boar, or venison dishes? Our group had the special Sea Bass, veal and risotto, and lobster ravioli that was in the appetizer list - they... More

There were four people in our party, and no one went away hungry or disappointed Dishes ranged from the usual Rigatoni Bolognese thru the Vitello Del La Nonna-all of which were very good. Wine list is extensive, as are the desserts, which are very good Service was good even on a Saturday night.

Quality food and quality service result in a wonderful experience. Generous wine servings (very nice Italian wines!), appetizers that tease the palate, and perfectly prepared and portioned entrees were center stage. Varied offerings on the menu. The food is excellent. Freshly made pasta was light and delicate, and meat and seafood were complemented with just the right seasoning/sauces. Service was... More

Wonderful experience including the gracious and friendly owner. The food was superbly prepared and presented and they have some unusual entrees like wild boar which we found delightful. With wine it can be a little expensive but it's definitely worth it for some of the best northern Italian food we've had. We will certainly return often. A real gem.

The best Northern Italian fine dining experience in these parts. Years ago, it's where I first enjoyed Chilean Sea Bass (Patagonian Toothfish). Outstanding! I'm not sure they have that now. I suspect Bronzino is the more current Sea Bass. The ambience, service, food, and wine are excellent. I consider it a special occasion dining experience.

This was our first visit to this ristorante. The food was of high quality and the presentation very appealing. Portions were an ideal size for a confortable sate. The atmosphere was quiet and intimate. The wine pairing with our meal was spot on as suggested by the owner who was very welcoming.
