We have a semi-business gathering at Black & Blue with my wife and my clients/colleagues on a Sunday evening. I had been there a couple of times and really enjoy their crab cakes. So after enjoying a weekend at Niagara Falls, we drove down for the gathering. The atmosphere was always top-notched.. Nice fireplace at the middle of the restaurant..... More

Always a fantastic experience. The food and the service is always top notch. NEVER have I had to send anything back. NEVER have I had any problems with service. I am here at least once per week when traveling in the Buffalo area.

My family gathered at the Black & Blue for a special occasion on a Saturday nite. The atmosphere of this restaurant is outstanding & elegant. There's a huge wall of wines just like in a certain Vegas restaurant where "wine angels" have to fetch your bottle. You might think you're in a swank Manhattan eatery , very modern and it... More

We also been extremely happy the food at black and blue but this time was the best. My steak was a little to pink for me. The manager was pleased to return and cooked it to perfection. He also gave us a free desert and we didn't complained. You cant be that!! The ambiance is equally excellent

We celebrated my retirement last night and went to Black & Blue for dinner. The staff was friendly and eager to assist with our every need. As a matter of fact, I brought a very nice bottle of wine from my cellar at home and there was a problem with a damaged cork. The waitress had the General Manager, Brandon... More

If you want to impress someone with the price, this is your place. If you want an above average meal, outstanding service and to see what you are eating, skip this one. I had the petite steak and a glass of wine. My date had a salad and a glass of wine. Cost over $100.00. So dark waitress had to... More

Can be rather noisy when busy. Steaks score high but some of the appetizers miss the mark (the Kobe metballs). Good bar service and varied wine list.

We were referred to this restaurant by the hotel we were staying in. A 9 oz sirloin cost $28.99 which was the least expensive steak on the menu. With the steak you got a choice of sauce and one side. The steak was not worth the money paid. I have had better steaks at chain restaurants The atmosphere was very... More

Black & Blue has a relaxed atmosphere where you can unwind and have a delicious meal without breaking the bank. The fillet is a great cut and always served to your liking. Save room for the chocolate truffles at the end of your meal. They also have a VIP card that has great benefits if you go there a lot.

I've been to Black and Blue numerous times. Great place for groups, business, romantic dinner, special occasions and a great happy hour! Very attentive waitstaff, bartenders, managers always visible and checking in with guests.
