If you really want great Vietnamese food rather than some rather odd 'fusion' venture go to Mai Fish every time! Mai Fish has one of the most extensive traditional menus we saw in Hoi An and everything done extremely well. My wife particularly like the Cau Lau and my daughter couldn't get enough of the seared beef strips cooked rare,... More

I'll be the first to admit that when I hear "fusion" associated with food, I get questionable. Fusion can either go really well or really badly given my experiences, but I figured "Why not?" when it was offered as a place to meet friends. Overall, the group was happy with the food. We went predominantly vegetarian to keep it light,... More

Very good range of food, great value, very large portions and charming service. This is not an ordinary asia resturant: the range of the menu and the standard of the dishes would put it in the upper echelons even if it were in town. I've not found a better restaurant outside of hoian.

We've just had a very pleasant dinner at Ca Mai. Steamed squid for an entrée, followed by duck curry, and rice and pork. It's a little more expensive than most, but good quality food and a lovely setting overlooking the river.

Came here for dinner and I am still dreaming of their pork shoulder with quail eggs and shrimp in curry sauce. The grilled octopus and green papaya appetizers were also delicious. If you're looking for umami, this is the place to go. Every sauce and topping is spot on. Their passion fruit sangria with fruit seeds, watermelon and lime bits... More

I don't give it a five star only because we've been for lunch and only took try appetisers. Delightful home made spring rolls and very good beef in lotus leaf! I suggest the Ba Vj: a mix of three starters (spring rolls, shrimps with coconut and papaya salad and beef in lotus leave). It is well prepared and nicely served... More

Came across the back entrance of this restaurant and thought it was very small as there were only two table for two outdoors right outside the kitchen, which was very clean and tidy. My family and I had the fresh spring rolls with pork and shrimp, chicken and beef banh mi and two bowls of beef pho. All the food... More

Came here for my birthday. Not cheap, though we didn't hold back! Staff all wished me a happy one, and even sang at the end of the meal, as they offerered me a small 'bavarois' (mousse cake). Food here was excellent. We went for the mixed fish fondue as our main, and started with delicious crispy banh xeo and beef... More
