We loved our dinner! Lovely food, good service, friendly prices. We would come back here anytime, it's a pitty we only discovered the place on our last night.
Intended to go to lunch at Mr Son across the road but the wind made us seek shelter in Hi's (slightly) more protected establishment. 4 dishes and 6 of the lovely coffees for about $10. We'll try Mr Son again tomorrow but would happily go back to Hi's too.
We ate here last year and were very satisfied and were happy again. The surroundings were not as good as last year because the restaurant is on the opposite side of the road. The original restaurant was lost due to the cyclone. They are due to move back shortly when a new building is completed. Even so we had good... More
Good value restaurant. Extensive menu. We were so pleased with the friendly service, we came back for breakfast the following morning. The omelettes we had for breakfast were the best we have ever had. Restaurant located just around the corner from the main entertainment street in Hoi An.

Really excellent food in street setting well worth a visit. We ate here last year and not disappointed this year. Recommend the pancake for desert big and very filling enough for two people. Hi restaurant location is on the opposite side of the road from where they used to be because of the typhoon that hit Hoi An. They will... More
Delicious food, very low prices & extreme kind hosts. You should try the beef in banana leafs & the won ton. Everything tastes very good. Came here twice!!
Went here after Trip Advisor recommendations. Food was ok and after a week in VN our tolerance to msg was up but to a person we all had the msg 'heebie-jeebies' that night and I feel that they had overdone it. A bit disappointed.
Food tasted okay, but made me quite ill afterwards. Their English is poor and I struggled to communicate that I was vegetarian and wanted to make sure there was no meat in the broth they used, despite having a post it note with "I'm vegetarian" written in Vietnamese on it. Also found a hair in my food...
We were two couples and went to hi restaurant on our stay cause friends recommended it. And we really liked it! FYI This place is for traveller that want to eat with locals in a local place, and so you know the typical Vietnamese place is not a western style restaurant! If you can handle plastic chair and street kitchen... More
