Sent here by both our guide from a tour and also various blogs and reviews we were on the quest for a perfect Banh Mi. Crunchy bread, good looking pork and way too much pate, which completely over powered the whole sandwich. Sadly disappointed in the lack of herb and heat in the sandwich. :-( Ok, but not great.

I was eager to try this famous Bahn Mi and if you have never had a good Bahn Mi before it is hands down an excellent choice and you'll no doubt be blown away by the textures and flavours... This Bahn Mi is fantastic, however I get the feeling their over whelming popularity has affected the amount the 'love and... More

Our private tour guide took us to this place and we swore we could eat this everyday. Got the pork bbq for me and hubby. Daughter had the "every kind of meat stuffed in it" banh mi. Sandwich is packed to the seams with meat, pickled veggies, and cilantro on the crispiest baguette. Believe me, we've had all kinds of... More

Simply the best Banh Mi that we had whilst in Vietnam, ended up having one a day! Amazingly cheap and so tasty, was always packed with a mix of locals and tourists.

You know this place is a hit when it's full of tourists seated at tables inside an a constant flow of locals ordering from the street to go. Cheap, delicious and a specialty of Hoi An, the banh mi is a must-have during your stay here. Tip: if you go mid-afternoon, you shouldn't have any wait.

The best place in the world let alone Vietnam to indulge and try the oh so famous Banh Mi! Absolutely loved it and the Banh Mi Phuong restaurant became a little home for me during my 2 weeks in Hoi An. I tried all of the below and ended up coming back for it again and again - 1) Banh... More

With his history of doing hatchet jobs on places that I've lived (San Francisco, Hokkaido, Tokyo, Santa Fe), I almost walked out of this highly-recommended-by-friends sandwich shop when I saw Bourdain's face on the menu. But... I was hungry. Holy moly. Best Banh Mi of my life. I don't care if it's mostly foreigners eating there now. I don't care... More

Ever since I had my first Banh Mi at Phuong's, I was craving more, waiting to come back to Hoi An, some people even say I planned my summer around returning to Hoi An for those 'Vietnamese Pork Bombs' ... so, I had 16 nights in Hoi An and had 12 of madam Phuong's Banh Mi. For lunch, or dinner,... More

Bahn Mi Phuong is a near walk from the Hoi An Central Market and the tailor shops. Would highly recommend going to Bahn Mi Phuong for lunch. It costs 20,000 Dong for 1 baguette and with so many choices, do get more than 1! My favourite was number 9. My only suggestion would be to avoid the peak times as... More

Like many other people, I know this from a friend who knows the place from No Reservation. after exploring old town I decide to check it out and ordered the one with everything (?) because I had no idea which is the best one so the lady was like "everything?" Ok then. It was sooooo gooooood! I ordered another to... More
