We heard about this place on our last day. Not tried other places so can't compare, but this is a really good sandwich - so good I got a second one in the day for the bus ride from Hoi An to Dalat. Sandwich no 9 for USD 1 is the one to go for. Light baguette, good meat, great... More

We loved the deluxe banh mi enough to return for a second one the next day. Perfect blend of textures, flavors, sweet and spice. The bread also - while bland on its own - serves as the perfect canvas for the ingredients. Love it. I have to chuckle reading someone else's review complaining about the 25,000 dong price of a... Amazing how cheap and reasonable the prices are given how far superior in quality the food here is. Highly recommend it!

Went to Hoi An today with my partner and another couple. We had eight local beers and seven bang mi at madam khanh. It was delicious. Wish they made them like that at home. All for $16 aus. Definitely recommend. 115 Tran cao van st hoi an.

Heard many good things about that place so ought to check it out. Have been in Vietnam for a while and had quiet a few banh mis during the course of my travels. This however is not as good as I thought it would be. Service and friendliness are hard to find but they don't have to provide any of... More

I, like most tourists seeked out this place after having seen it on Anthony Bourdain's TV show. Quite frankly, I think Tony was off the mark. The sandwich was okay, but nowhere near the orgasmic experience it is cracked up to be. The ladies were abrupt and the price was inflated - 25,000d for a simple Banh Mi? Please. And... More

Only 10,000vnd you can get a delicious banh mi for breakfast. I'll come back there again if I have chance to visit Hoi An.

The #9 special as recomended by anthony bourdain was delicious. Its a bit different to the banh mi ive tried elsewhere but definitely delicious - theres something in that pate and sauce that makes it awesome. 25k VND for one. We went around 930 am and no queues.

You read the title correctly. White tourist are welcomed. If you are non-white, you will have to wait till all Caucasians before and behind you are served first. If you care about equal treatment of all people including Vietnamese, DO NOT SUPPORT Banh Mi Phuong. Let me describe what happen to me and 2 other Vietnamese ladies on first and... More

My husband and I hunted out this place after watching Anthony Bourdain rave about the sandwiches with his French friend on No Reservations (of course). Tony didn't steer us wrong once in Vietnam and this place was our favorite, over all. We had the banh mi with pate and pork (#9) and pretty much stuck with it, eating lunch here... More
