Fantastic cookery class well worth the money - learned new techniques, passionate chef and made an excellent high quality Vietnamese lunch. So good we even returned later for dinner where I had a seafood marinara with an exceptional tomato sauce. Good portion size. Good cocktails and lovely interior. Feel priveleged to have had this experience!

I ate a dish with rice and veggies and chicken and peanuts and it was very tasty. The staff is friendly. Although when it's busy, they can forget you.

Had cooking lessons that were well organized, well thought out and led to an excellent dinner that I could prepare myself at home later. Picture of the finished product is attached to this review, although it doesn't include the mango sticky-rice dessert (which also looked and tasted fantastic). Everything looked great and tasted even better -it was like eating in... More

The food here was really fresh and beautiful and the service was great, we would definitely eat here again. They also offer cooking classes which we didn't get around to doing.

I'm pretty sure the owner of the place is more an interior decorator than a chef. Its almost as if they thought they'd like to own a designer restaurant, set it up nicely decor wise and then, as an after thought, git a local chef good at some cuisine, and then proceeded to tell that chef to add all the... A lovely setting - modernised, black, dimly-lit interior, containing antiques and a sexy bar - screams style. And the soundtrack, which sounded like Hotel Costes/Cafe del Mar, is perfect. But the food is very disappointing. After a caipirinha which was mostly crushed ice, I tried the local White Rose dumplings. Bland. Next came a Eggplant 'salad', which comprised 8 small... More

The setting within the restaurant is great, we sat on the balcony overlooking the street with all its hustle and bustle. The food was an excellent fusion of cultures, even down to Carbonara with rice noodles. Unfortunately the evening we ate here we were about the only couple in the restaurant which led to a lack of atmosphere, but that... More

Having read the reviews we went to Green Mango for the last night of our honeymoon. Whilst the restaurant looks really good inside and the staff are friendly the food was not as flavoursome as some of the other places we went to I'm hoi an. Maybe it was just what we choose but we both felt the same.

My girlfriend and I took the cooking class here, I highly recommend it. The chef(can't remember his name now) is great, clearly very passionate about what he does. He makes sure to get everyone very involved in the cooking. There were only 2 other people taking it with us, and we got to pick what we wanted to cook from... More
