We ate at Green Mango last night. Like almost all reviewers we found the food and service excellent; perhaps the service a little too attentive as this is low season with few customers. We were at a table on the upstairs verandah which would certainly be the best location with views of the passing throngs below.

We have just had 9 nights holidaying in Hoi An and was recommended the Green Mango for a place to eat. After the first visit, we ended up eating and having drinks there on numerous occasion. I would like to thank Hai for his hospitality and making sure that we were well looked after on every visit and also Pineapple... More

Situated in an old restored house this could be a fab restaurant. The decor is kitsch and shiny and overwhelms what is left of the beautiful old structure. The starters were okish but the main courses terrible - a tasteless mix of european and vietnamese cuisine and overpriced. Staff is fantastic, they made the experience bearable. To be missed for... My friend and I recently travelled to Hoi An for a girls' trip. We were told (by several people) to try the Green Mango. We loved it so much that we went twice during our short 3 day trip. They have amazing food no great customer service. A must try.

During our stay at Hoi An, we ate at the Green Mango numerous times and every time it was a delight. The staff are both friendly and professional, and the food was superb! Mr Hai and Thoum (Pineapple) went out of their way to help us and make us feel welcome.

Spent 2 months in Vietnam and ate everywhere from bus stations to 5 star hotels in Hanoi.... this spot was by far the best, most interesting restaurant of the trip. The produce was super fresh, all the flavor bright and balanced. I am usually bored with high end fusion food as it often seems too forced, but this place was... More

The ambience in the restaurant is very welcoming and comfortable. The staff is very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, drinks cold and reasonably priced during happy hours. We sat upstairs, which gave us respite from the many hawkers who invade the restaurants selling all sorts of stuff. The prices here are extremely reasonable.

The 2 of us booked into the cooking school, as we had enjoyed wonderful food at the Hanoi restaurant. we had a 3 hour lesson, and as there was no one else booked in, it felt very personal. "pineapple" took us on a tour of the market, which was fantastic, and there she displayed how some of the Vietnamese kitchen... More

Watch for happy hour deals just before dinner. Seafood was fantastic. Good staff who enjoyed serving our large group. In the middle of a rain storm and they dealt with drips and never missed a beat with food coming out.

I had done a bit of research on where to eat in Hoi An and Green Mango (amongst quite a few others) reviewed very well......but it was not our experience. Firstly, we waited a tad too long to be asked would we like a drink. Then, once we ordered drinks, we had to ask after 15 mins how much longer... More
