My Sister and I chose to have lunch here after seeing advertisement in City guide book. This restaurant was at the end of the row of dining places above the beach. Should not have gone in when we saw Tables and chairs being loaded on a trailer. However saw diners coming out. Think the place has just changed hands. Should... More

We have had dinner at Le Banyan twice and the meals were very nice. The first time there were 10 of us and the French owner, Gael, had made sure they had fresh fish for "fish in babana leaf" for us. It was delcious. Even our Vietnamese friends were impressed with their meals. There were french fries for the little... More

As a digital nomad this is one of those dream locations. I would be at Banyan at least 1-2 times per week, Get there at 8am and hang out until the sun goes down. The coffees are the best I've had in that area, the food is fantastic, the staff is super friendly and Gael is a great host. There... More

We were in a bar next to Le Banyan and heard the amazing singer/guitarist singing what sounded like american style country music. It drew us in! The French bar owner was there and very sociable with the crowd. There was about 15 people, mostly westerners (French, Aussies, American, Sth African). being so late at night and being that there was... More

The most beautiful spot on the beach, the food is amazing the staff are all so nice they can't do enough to help you and the owner Gail (cong) is such a nice guy. Make sure you sample the flavoured Vodka (homemade) and his own style cocktails, superb!! A must for anyone travelling to Hoi An!!

The first time we came here, we really liked it. Staff were smiley, service good, the food was ok. In addition to this, the owner was lovely offering us his paddle board and letting us know where to hire a surf board from. The second time we went though we were pretty much ignored (there was an event on), the... More

This was hands-down our favorite bar in Hoi An, and, in fact, in all of Vietnam. It was a great place to spend an afternoon/evening. The seating was incredibly comfortable, the views were exquisite, the food was delicious, the service was friendly and excellent, and the drinks were cold and strong. Basically, everything you could need or want in a... More

The French lads running Le Banyan are some of the best people in Hoi An. You go for a beer and stay for the conversation and genuine welcoming attitude. We were in the area for a few weeks and stopped by almost every three days or so. The food was of a very high quality. It was nice the way... More

We love our food & decided to eat here last night after reading all the good reviews seen on TA. We are staying at An Bang Seaside Village so a 5 minute walk away....but the food was truly average - not sure if it was an off night or not... We selected from the tapas menu - calamari over cooked,... More
