this restaurant is quietly supporting an charity here in Vietnam and Cambodia. I only had one meal here and it was beautifully presented and delicious.. I listened to he own Geof with admiration as he told me about the work he does for his charity.

We're staying close by and noticed the number of very positive reviews but were never close by at meal times. Tonight, we were told that one of the trendy places in Hoi An was too busy for us (on a day you could see was tough for the local shop keepers - trade was down). We walked past the White... More

We enjoyed a great morning at the White Lotus Cooking School. We were greeted with fresh iced coffee, before starting our walk to the market to get our ingredients. Our guide Ha, gave use lots of information and tips about herbs, fruit, fish and meat. With the help of Chief Dough we cooked: Hoi An Spring Rolls, Vietnam (Pho) Soup... More

Brilliant! The food was delicious, the Pho very nice and the beef salad. Very happy that I visited the restaurant as all profit goes to aid work in Vietnam and Cambodia. I would happily go back.

We ate at White Lotus and then returned for the cooking class. The food was very nice, not too spicy but still tasty. The cooking class with Ha was good fun and quite informative. I came away inspired to cook spring rolls and pho at home. Very good value as you basically got to eat a 3 course meal included... More

Our first night in Hoi An, we exhaustingly looked for a place close to our hotel. The food was fine -- nothing special. We ordered the fried rice served in a pineapple. I had assumed there would be pineapple in the fried rice, but there wasn't. The vegetables looked like the were from a frozen packet of peas and carrots.... More

I am not in the habit of replying to reviews, positive or negative, unless I consider the review unjust. Your review is a classic example of this and I will deal with your issues in order. "Bland, average food"................You use as your headline a very powerful adjective and noun in tandem. In the context of food both are totally SUBJECTIVE.... More
