Well worth a visit!

We were heading to another restraunt that had been recommend by a friend, but it was bursting at the seams so we didn't bother. We noticed the Family Restraunt had no patrons & thought like many (I'm guessing) "wonder why?". So we ventured in & were very glad we did, we had a great table upstairs... read more

Good restaurant, with good prices in comparison to other nearby restaurants in the ancient city centre. Portions were not big but just Vietnamese portions. Decent but not any more.

Nice food when it came but the service was really slow even though they weren't that busy with less the half the restaurant occupied. Service staff were friendly and helpful, just slow.

We had intended to visit the restaurant next door for dinner but it was full to bursting. We noticed a nice table on the verandah and sat down and ordered cold beers and a reasonable glass of Rose. The food was well priced and served in good time. The staff were friendly and I would recommend this restaurant ....good place... More

visited this restaurant during a 12 day stay in Hoi An during which we used a different restaurant each night. The Family was the poorest we used from the point of view of quality of food and service

We weren't too sure about this place but we are very happy we ended up staying. The staff were very polite and the food was very tasty. We will be recommending this restaurant to everyone.

The lunch I had here was one of the best I had in Viet Nam. The food was so fresh and tasty. It was obvious they take a lot of care in their preparation. Everything was great, and the only exception was the pork, which was just average. The building has a lot of old world charm, and the day... More

Good position. Friendly service, but food is fairly ordinary so why bother if you've only got a few days in Hoi An? Wine by the glass was more like wine by the thimble. Needs to improve and be better value.

My wife and I take regular visits to Hoi An, looking to eat somewhere other than our usual places we walked into Family restaurant. The service was friendly and the food was very well priced compared to other places in the area. We have a mix of local and wester foods. Living in Vietnam it was the best mango salad... More
