If your looking to splash out on a meal, then you could give the Green Mango a visit. The cost is around 2 or 3 times that of other places we have visited in Hanoi. The food is very nice and the staff are very attentive and chatty. Was it worth the extra money? In my opinion maybe not, but... More

Recommended by hotel staff, we tried the green mango restaurant. The food was ok, similar to other restaurants but prices are a lot higher than in similar places in Hanoi (nearly double). Try the Hanoi specialties. Staff is friendly.

On holiday in Hanoi and was recommended this restaurant for dinner.Stayed in this city 3 days and three dinners in this restaurant. All the meals were fantastic and the service were superb. The friendly staff and attentiveness surpass my expectations. Anyone travelling to Hanoi, don't miss dining here.

An absolutely outstanding restaurant. Decor as mentioned in title is modern and seems a bit out of place in the old town. However, it is tastefully done. What really shines is the food, followed by service and then the wine list. The food is Is multicultural, mostly Vietnamese, some Thai, and steaks thrown in as well. Spices are complex and... More

The meals I ate here are without a doubt the best meal I have ever had overseas. The service you would expect at the most expensive restaurant back in Melbourne, yet at the price of a typical Vietnamese dinner. The food is presented amazingly, taste delicious and is great value. If you go to Hanoi and do not eat here,... More

Stopped in for dinner and was warmly greeted and quickly seated. Green Mango is a somewhat upmarket restaurant in the Old Quarter but in no way pretentious or over the top, casual is the way to go. The food and service were excellent and no problem for English speaking guests. I had some excellent spring rolls followed with a squid... More

So good, I wrote my first review. The food was so good we went back a second time, Antonio and his staff were amazing, friendly and well trained. The fillet Mignon was one of the best I've ever had and I've had a lot of steak, the sea bass and cashew and basil crust was melt in the mouth and... More

Overall enjoyed the dining experience here, tasty food to be had across the menu - can't exactly remember what I had was called - Bo Bun Po Bo or something... it was beef anyway. Very tasty. If you're on a backpacker budget this may not be the place for you, it's not a cheap restaurant, there are other's of similar... More

Green Mango became our favourite place to dine on our trip to Hanoi. We attended the restaurant 4 times in a week. And that's saying something!!! My friend and I are both fussy eaters being vegetarians, and we have a very high standard when it comes to service. The staff were amazing, the food delicious and it was all so... More

This place was the low point of our trip. It really was awful. Start to finish was a comedy of errors. The waitress tripped and threw a Pina Colada at me, which wasn't her fault but she left me covered in coconut milk and bits of pineapple. And that was just the beginning. The managers were extremely arrogant, we had... More

Dear Captain T, I'm very sorry to hear that your experience here at Green Mango was so bad. We are usually proud about high quality of our food and service, but like everybody we can make some mistakes. I'm trying to understand what went wrong that night, but is not so easy because the waitress threw a Pinacolada at you... More
