I always head here for breakfast. They do great dinners -- but head here for the warmest baguettes, western breakfast options if you're homesick, or their set menus, which let you try local specialties amidst a couple of other courses for a deal (and it's perfectly acceptable to eat cau lau or white rose for breakfast, friends). Staff are friendly... More

Love the seafood and the survice is great , however the bacon was too salty for my taste and had to be eaten with the egg to balance out. whatever This restaurant is very very good Strongly recommended.

Cool staff, cool chef, make this place a great place to chill for a drink or surprisingly good food. Nachos are the best I've had in europe and better than most places in the US... and man, the soup! great atmosphere, all around good place to eat or just stop for a drink.. This place has that magic recipe and... More

I had breakfast at the Banana leaf and the food was great! Delicious fruit smoothies and eggs in any way you prefer. The upstairs tables overlook the river which is a nice way to wake up in Hoi An. Prices are good too!

Their food is ok. The fried shrimp (that they said it is the most special dish) is so so. Staffs are not so profestional but nice. In general I think nothing so special. It's a good choice for budget 12 - 13 usd/pax/meal.

The Vietnamese food you get is very good and not to expensive. We had a good place in the corner of the terasse but sometimes we felt not to be seen by the staff. But we enjoyed it and would go there again. We both had the Cao Lau and the vegetable spring rolls, both very good.

Stopped here for an afternoon drink and spring rolls, it was nice just sitting looking over the river and the activity going on. Drinks and small meal were ok, staff were not overly enthusastic, but did find this at some of the restaurants during the day. I think they need to realise if you have a good experience then you... We sat upstairs at Banana Leaf in order to watch the sun set and the lanterns being lit in old Hoi An. The verandah is a good vantage point. The restaurant was recommended to us, and the service and food were fine. A good and inexpensive curry.

We keep coming back here since our children like the staff so much. We keep visiting them since 2007, yearly. Best from this shop is the drink BANANA LEAF, a kind of passion fruit caprioska, one of the best cocktail around. 95000 VND for a bucket for 2 ( 4.5$ for 600 ml !) ask for 1 shot extra, 2... More

Pleasant surroundings - restaurant situated on the riverside in the heart of the old town of Hoi An. Good Vietnamese food - freshly prepared & very tasty. Good view of the river with all it's comings & goings. You get a decent meal for about $10 per person Staff pleasant but English poor do they're unable to explain anything on... More
