The Vietnamese food you get is very good and not to expensive. We had a good place in the corner of the terasse but sometimes we felt not to be seen by the staff. But we enjoyed it and would go there again. We both had the Cao Lau and the vegetable spring rolls, both very good.

Stopped here for an afternoon drink and spring rolls, it was nice just sitting looking over the river and the activity going on. Drinks and small meal were ok, staff were not overly enthusastic, but did find this at some of the restaurants during the day. I think they need to realise if you have a good experience then you... We sat upstairs at Banana Leaf in order to watch the sun set and the lanterns being lit in old Hoi An. The verandah is a good vantage point. The restaurant was recommended to us, and the service and food were fine. A good and inexpensive curry.

We keep coming back here since our children like the staff so much. We keep visiting them since 2007, yearly. Best from this shop is the drink BANANA LEAF, a kind of passion fruit caprioska, one of the best cocktail around. 95000 VND for a bucket for 2 ( 4.5$ for 600 ml !) ask for 1 shot extra, 2... More

Pleasant surroundings - restaurant situated on the riverside in the heart of the old town of Hoi An. Good Vietnamese food - freshly prepared & very tasty. Good view of the river with all it's comings & goings. You get a decent meal for about $10 per person Staff pleasant but English poor do they're unable to explain anything on... More

The fresh spring rolls were excellent and the atmosphere and location a great too. But, the Pho Ba was both the most expensive we had in Vietnam and at the same time the worst. It was totally flavourless.

I have travelled around South East Asia for five weeks and this is by far my favourite restaurant! I had three dishes: white rose dumplings (yum), prawns served on a banana leaf, and a multi cheese pancake! I could of gone a fourth plate! Wanted to taste everything on their menu. Cocktails were great too. On the contrary their service... More

This restaurant has become a favourite of mine in Hoi An. Get a table on the first floor balcony overlooking the river. The view is awesome in the evening. I have found the wait staff to be attentive and helpful, however their English skills could be better. Some here complain that it takes too long for the meals to come.... More

Pumpkin soup was good, stuff squid was good, banana flower salad was good, ginger chicken was good and stir fried veggie was good too. Service was efficient and atmosphere was good. Take a Tourist boat from Hoi An for a short trip on the river and then the Banana Leaf is just a few steps away from where you dock.

We didn't stay for long as we were just waiting for a boat ride, but staff are very friendly and the cafe is set in one of the nicest parts of Hoi An, overlooking the river. Shame we couldnt have stayed longer :)
