A small Vietnamese house on the way from ancient town to Cua Dai beach (in between Phuoc An River Hotel and Hoi An Riverside Resort). A stop-by site for you to take a break before heading to the beach or to gain your energy after long hours by the sea. A chill out atmosphere, a simple and elegant interior design, open space to view the Hoian rice field before it would fade out by the invading of rude modernism. Good just with the healthy-concept smoothies, without sugar and condensed milk, or a light sophisticated meal to a romantic dinner with your lovers.Perfected with jazz music collection, from Nat King Cole to Michael Buble...Welcome all of you to come and enjoy the Vietnamese slow food meals as well as enjoy every minutes of an unhurried life.

Slow food for slow people

Ate at this restaurant twice during a short stay in Hoi An - both occasions we had a great time. The service was very good, food was great (despite confusion over one of our orders) and the smoothies were delicious!

This restaurant experience was lovely. We sat in the front lush garden section on a small deck area on a balmy humid night - the pedestal fans there were appreciated. We had the most delicious lotus salad, crispy pancakes and exotic leaves to wrap up in rice paper (I love participation food) with a tasty dipping sauce. Superb! We also... More

Excellent food, excellent service. We did a cooking lesson which included the trip to the market to buy all of the ingredients needed for our meal. The owner even rented bicycles for us to get to the market and back. Our hostess took us through the market and explained how to choose the freshest. We started our day at 9:00... More

Quiet atmosphere near exotic river. Helpful waitress showed us how to put the ingredients of our traditional local specialty Banh Xeo on the translucent thin rice pancake, roll tightly and dip in sauce. The taste was excellent but would not have been the same if we had guessed the "how to"

My sister and daughter and I are traveling in Vietnam on holiday. We are using Audley Travel to arrange much of the trip. We are spending a couple of nights at Hoi An Riverside Resort. We were on our own for dinner and used Trip Advisor to identify a local restaurant. It was Son Hoian. The food was very good.... More

Delicious, fresh, flavourful food in a modern setting that sets Son apart from the competition in Hoi An! The green papaya salad was a treat.

On arriving tired and hungry at our hotel, we found this gem of a place very close by, and visited 4 times in 5 days. This place is supremely excellent for its home cooked food and the very warm welcome from Tam and her colleagues. Compared to some of the best restaurants in Hoi An, this place is not over... More

Banh xeo pancakes is one of the best I have had in Hoi An. Cassava salad and eggplant were good too. We ordered the specials of the day. The bbq pork belly and the squid in tamarind were superb. The big let down to an otherwise wonderful meal was the hotpot duck. The duck meat was really tough.
