A small Vietnamese house on the way from ancient town to Cua Dai beach (in between Phuoc An River Hotel and Hoi An Riverside Resort). A stop-by site for you to take a break before heading to the beach or to gain your energy after long hours by the sea. A chill out atmosphere, a simple and elegant interior design, open space to view the Hoian rice field before it would fade out by the invading of rude modernism. Good just with the healthy-concept smoothies, without sugar and condensed milk, or a light sophisticated meal to a romantic dinner with your lovers.Perfected with jazz music collection, from Nat King Cole to Michael Buble...Welcome all of you to come and enjoy the Vietnamese slow food meals as well as enjoy every minutes of an unhurried life.

Still amazing food

The Son restaurant in Hoi An never disappoints. We have been coming here for three years. Their philosophy is slow food slow life. The food is simple and flavoursome. They use the freshest of ingredients and the meal is always a pleasure to eat. It is well presented and affordable. The staff are... read more

This is our 4th visit to Son and I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Hoi An! The food and service is exceptional! Local cuisine, tranquil relaxed atmosphere. We paid $7 to get here by taxi from centre of old town. Dinner and drinks for 4 people came to $55 Australian. Whenever we visit Hoi An we will eat... More

We've been a couple of times now and we love the food. So much flavour and everything is beautifully presented. I highly recommend the fish in banana leaf! The best I've had in Hoi An. I'm definitely going to try and squeeze in another visit before we leave :)

i found this place through tripadvisor and having seen so many good reviews about this place, i wanted to visit here on top of all in hoi an. I ordered the duck with orange sauce, garlic prawn baguette, fried rice, and crispy spring rolls The food was served on beautiful plates with cute decorations (teal colored ceramics which I loved... We went there two times during our stay in Hoi An. Food an service were both excellent each time, especially the Hoi An specials on the menu. It is located next to the river, a bit from the centre, but well worth a cab ride to get there. Don't miss out on this fantastic place when you're in Hoi An,... More

So, here we are (2 adults and 2 kids) in a restaurant with great reviews. We actually cycled 4 km from the town centre to this place. At first, the place looks nice. We ordered some spring rolls, the duck, some eggplant and a papaya salad. The salad is great really tasty. The fresh herbs give the salad a good... More

The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. They have a small gargen with a water fountain which adds to the experience. I recommend this restaurant if you want to experience Hoi An cuisine.

The food is delicious! We tried some dishes and everything was exceptional (the stuffed squid is to dye for!)The staff is really friendly and we specially liked the calm location! It's absolutely worth it! If we had discovered it before we would definitely have repeated the experience!

We were staying at The Riverside Resort and Spa and wanted to go to a local Restaurant. This was just 5 mins walk away and what a find. The food was excellent. We have had lots of spring rolls in Vietnam but these were the best - nostalgic spring rolls! We spent a very relaxing evening here with a fair... More
