A small Vietnamese house on the way from ancient town to Cua Dai beach (in between Phuoc An River Hotel and Hoi An Riverside Resort). A stop-by site for you to take a break before heading to the beach or to gain your energy after long hours by the sea. A chill out atmosphere, a simple and elegant interior design, open space to view the Hoian rice field before it would fade out by the invading of rude modernism. Good just with the healthy-concept smoothies, without sugar and condensed milk, or a light sophisticated meal to a romantic dinner with your lovers.Perfected with jazz music collection, from Nat King Cole to Michael Buble...Welcome all of you to come and enjoy the Vietnamese slow food meals as well as enjoy every minutes of an unhurried life.

Nice

We're family of 4. Nice staff and setting. We had a hotpot-good but not amazing. Maybe choosing something else on the menu would have altered my review. Also probably a little overpriced when compared to mermaid cafe and certainly xua- which are both fantastic in their price ranges BTW.

Neville (from "Taste of HoiAn Food Tour" )recommended "Son" 3 years ago-we have been regulars ever since and highly recommend every dish and drink on the menu! We have come to know Tri & his lovely wife Tam, their family and staff and have enjoyed many great lunches, dinners, coffees, cocktails and cooking classes with this adorable & talented family.... Just when I thought food in Hoi An couldn't get any better...... thanks to Neville (from 'Taste of Hoi An ' food tour ) we go to this little gem of a restaurant and gave the duck, garlic prawns and wonder of wonders the cassava salad. Truely delicious and lovely family.

We were cycling past looking for somewhere for lunch and spotted the trip Advisor sign out front. We were not disappointed The food was very tasty and well prepared. The presentation was excellent and a little different from the usual Hoi an restaurants.

My wife and I were recommended by someone we met in hoi an. And we were definantly not disappointed! Tam and the rest of the crew were very nice people! In a very quiet area and the food was amazing. We at their must try spring rolls, pork belly, and the char grilled duck in orange sauce. Best duck i... More

Our 2nd time to Hoi An & this is the best meal we've eaten while here. Lovely friendly staff, really nice surroundings. There were 4 of us & we all ate at separate times, meals didn't come out together - only negative. Try the Long Island Teas - the best!

Son HoiAn Restaurant is a culinary delight. We have eaten at this restaurant several times and we always leave completely satisfied. I usually order the duck in Orange sauce which is so tender it melts in your mouth. Also chose the egg plant in clay pot as a side dish. The eggplant with so many flavours was sensational. This is our second time in Hoi An in under 12 months and to return to Son Restaurant was on our list of must do's. We arrived for dinner last night and were not disappointed that we had returned. Son Hoian is a great find in Hoi An whose location means you either need to discover it on TripAdvisor or get it through a recommendation from Neville of Taste of Hoi An food tours. It's a short 5 minute taxi ride outside town and offers some of the most innovative twists on Vietnamese food that you'll find. Our meal... More
