Were recommended by a couple guests in the hotel. We passed to Son Restaurant for our dinner. It is located near Hoi An Riverside Resort and Spa. It was really simple with a midium high cottage. The facilities were not new but clean. The owner and staff there were very friendly and warm. They served you as their family's members.... More

This is truly an outstanding restaurant and the perfect choice if you are looking for traditional Vietnamese food with a unique touch at a reasonable price. Every dish is prepared with great attention to detail and the flavors are combined in an elegant and unique way. Nowhere else in or around Hoi An will you find such delicious Vietnamese cuisine.... My parter and I had dinner here, he had pork belly and I had chicken curry. Pork belly was nice but chicken curry was a little bland. Prices were a little more than other restaurants too. There are many more tasty restaurants in hoi an to visit.

Due to the location, in between the beach and the old town, we would have driven past Son and not considering dining here. We are so glad that this place was recommended to us. In very simple surrounds the food was outstanding. We chose meals from a small menu that highlights the specialties of the kitchen. The salads were a... More

This is one of the better restaurants in Vietnam and one of the best in Hoi An. One of the best things about living in Saigon is that we can spend a week or two every year in Hoi An. Son Hoi An Restaurant, where we eat often and well during every visit, is always one of the highlights. Terrific... More

Two years since I last got there... The location slightly changed, but not the restaurant. A friendly staff answered any of our needs to discover a great Vietnamese Cuisine. All in a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. I love that restaurant !

The restaurant is located outside the city centre which is why it attracts less visitors than other places. But the food is much better. We stayed for 8 days in Hoi An and went to many restaurants. This was the best one. We came 3 times and enjoyed it each time. For us it was the best restaurant of our... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel (just opposite) and when we popped our heads in one evening, a couple of Australians highly recommended the food and they spoke of this Neville chappie. So we decided to come back the following evening. My son ordered a banana smoothie and it was amazing and it was presented in a... More

half way between town and the beach in Hoi An on the main road, you can find lattice paper spring rolls, magnificent fried shrimp in butter and garlic (big king prawns), duck in orange sauce, chicken in tamarind sauce, the specialities are very special indeed. If you want to make your life really easy, just ask for Nevilles menu (aka... More

This restaurant was definitely the best out of all the places we ate in Hoi An (over a week), no doubt about it. The sign 'slow food' outside caught our eye as we were bicycling past on the beach road, and intrigued by the concept of slow Vietnamese food, we stopped. We weren't disappointed - the food was fabulous. Fresh,... More
