Our best meals in Hoi An

We were recommended here by a friend and as a result ate here twice out of the 4 nights we had in HoiAn! Wonderful food. Great service. Great value. We were recommended to book - which we are glad we did as it was full. We ate up stairs- which was a lot cooler. However if you like being... read more

It is a very large and crowded restaurant. I can say very tourist-oriented, and overrated, just basic and noisy. Not bad, not good.

Dined here with my wife and 2 daughters on our first night in Hoi An on the recommendation of a friend. My wife and daughters liked it so much they went again the following evening. The waitress remembered them and when they were leaving she suggested that she hoped see them the next evening? Unfortunately that didn't happen however we... More

Ate here on recommendation of our hotel and it was excellent. The baked snapper was a highlight and had my husband almost licking the bones dry! Super fresh and excellent service! Highly recommended.

Went here with 4 others and was dubious when I saw the size of the place, the queue outside and the masses of westerners inside. However I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. The crispy satay pancake with pork was excellent. Ambiance - average, service - slowish but good, food - excellent.

Overall it was nice food and staff but the restaurant does not live up to its hype. The egg pancake was disappointing but the other dishes were nice. This restaurant is nice but not the best in Hoi Añ.

I was expected about this famous restaurant so much, but then disappointed. There're not many choice of food. It might be suitable for foreigner, but cannot satisfy the one who would like to taste the "real Vietnamese". Drinks, except for green tea, are not good as well. However, the restaurant decoration is really charming. 1 more minus point is the... More

Had a great lunch at Morning Glory for two for usd18 (1 appetiser, 2 main courses, 2 non alcoholic drinks). The food is really good; highly recommend the banh xeo (rice pancake) and cao lao (pork noodles). The restaurant was also very careful in dealing with my food allergies. Enjoyed this way better than Mango Mango (where we spent usd... More

The menu is great - for each section, it describes why/when the Vietnamese eat these types of food (e.g., soup is always included in a meal; this dish is good for upset stomachs; this dish is served on special occasions; etc.). I had the three friends spring rolls (pork, shrimp, and something else) and the server demonstrated how to eat... More

We Went to this restaurant based on previous reviews. My mum has a gluten intolerance and they were happy to answer questions about whether there was flour in certain foods. She was able to eat the spring rolls, white roses, and the rice broth. The food was amazing and my mum didn't get any symptoms so we went back 3... More
