Great lunch and dinner here. Dont miss the mango and banana smoothies and the unique aubergine/eggplant dish(but whatever you choose will not disappoint - such as the Banh Xeo with pork skewers or the morning glory salad) Easy to walk in for lunch but you need to make a reservation for dinner unless you don't mind waiting around for about... We went for an early dinner, after reading reviews on here about how long the wait can be. Was given a table straight away. We ordered three dishes to share; papaya salad with sesame beef, mackerel in banana leaf and baguette with two types of pork. We also ordered a flambéed banana with sago for dessert. The food took a... More

Looked very crowded but managed to get downstairs table. Watched the very competent, calm ladies cooking in the middle. Staff helpful and efficient. Loved the way the menu gave descriptions of the history of some of the dishes. Everything we had was scrumptious. Great value too.

What can I say about this place? The food here was out of this world. I read in the LP guide that you could eat here every day for a month and not experience an average meal - they were right! The layout was nice, the staff friendly and relatively, the food was still cheap. I would have been happy... More

Simple rule - if in Hoi An, go! Get your hotel to book at around 8pm to soak in the charisma of Hoi An Ancient Town from the ageing balcony at the front of the restaurant. The expense is entirely manageable and an absolute bargain relative to the food and the whole experience. We opted for three appetisers (pork rice... More

I rarely return to a restaurant. With only two nights in Hoi An, I certainly didn't expect to eat at the same place twice. However, we just couldn't find another place we were excited about after eating at Morning Glory the first night, and so we went back the second night! The place was jam packed both evenings, and I... More

A very busy place given its popularity in the local guides and here on Tripadvisor. It was busy when we arrived but they found us a table quickly and whilst the service was okay, given how busy it was, the food was better than okay and we all enjoyed all meals. Worth a try
