The garden makes this restaurant different

This is one of the nicer restaurants for me in Hoi An. Not for the food, which is average, and the choice is limited, but for the nice garden. Quite large in comparison to other cramped outdoor seating areas in Hoi An, nice decoration and just a very nice, really relaxing atmosphere.

As another review mentions, Rough Guides suggests this as THE place to go. What a let down. Nice setting, lovely garden, short but decent menu. First they didn't have my boyfriend's choice, then they changed their minds and didn't have mine. No Cao Lau in Hoi An? Really?! The food was ok, but definitely nothing special. My seafood noodles were... More

Been in Vietnam over a week now and tried various restaurants in Hoi An. This was by far the best. Personal welcome by the owner, a table on the terrace, and they fitted us in despite having a big group party at the same time. We had clams and goats cheese with honey to start. Superb flavours and good portion... More

We had dinner here based on the trip advisor reviews and were pleasantly surprised. Each dish was really good and the service was prompt and friendly. Great spot along the river and although it is a few spots down from the main hub of everything, it is worth trying.

Nice, classy restaurant on the other side of the bridge which meant it was quiet. Setting was nice and good, attentive service. Menu is not very big, focus is on seafood. We both enjoyed our meals. Reasonable wine list.

In a city like Hoi An where the restaurant owners are competing about getting the tourists to come and have their mass produced food, this place really stands out. They have opted for a high end offering, not competing for the budget traveler. The food is absolutely great, we ordered a selection of seafood dishes, a lovely lemongrass soup, three... More

We stopped in and had the mini seafood. The clams are to die for, lemongrass and ginger. The clams soup / juice was baguette soakingly good. Big prawns and calamari fresh and tasty. Price on par with others but you can always get cheaper on food carts. Would go again if we were staying longer.

The restaurant is a real retreat fom the usual hustle and bustle of Hoi An,easy to walk to and beautifully laid out and decorated with a garden area as well as the main salon. We had a fried black pomfret ,very meaty and delicious and serviced with tasty vegetables and sauce .Certainly one of the best whole fish we have ever... Nice view, location and meals ( grilled fish and sea food platter are +++) with very reasonable prices for the wine list. The service was good and efficient, nothing to complain.

Excellent lunch today, quality fresh food, freshly prepared, good value coupled with subtle and efficient service. Lovely position looking across the river at the other busy river bank leading to the mad market.
