The lush greenery of the entrance heralds a soothingingly cool interior, perfect on a very hot and humid Autumn festival day. Extensive wine list, we chose an Organic Pinot Gris from Sicily, and were certainy pleased with the fresh, grassy wine. For lunch I had the shrimp red curry, delightfully spiced, with a smooth, not over creamy coconut milk sauce... More

We stayed at a resort near Da Nang for 7 nights but 'shuttled in' to Hoi An and ate at various restaurants in Hoi An for 6 of the 7 nights. This restaurant was a bit more pricey than others we tried but the food was still very cheap by Australian standards. It was by far the best of the... More

My opinion on this place is based in a comparison to all similar places we visited during our three week journey in Vietnam. This is one of the best restaurants we enjoyed in Vietnam. We went there twice. Cosy, with a charming terrace under the trees. Good selection of wines and Catalan cava, we found to be up to 15$... More

We came here based on the excellent review in the Rough Guides but were disappointed as the food was distinctly average and definitely overpriced for what we got!

Food was just ok, you could find better in Hoi An at a cheaper price. That said service was good and the setting is nice (candle lit quiet courtyard).

I'm surprised to find this so low down in the overall ratings for Hoi An restaurants. We've been in Hoi An for a week and our meal at Cava has been the best so far by a long way. It's expensive by local standards but the seafood platter was outstanding, with service to match. We had whole snapper, humongous shrimp,... More

This place was so good we went there twice in three days. If you do find yourself craving something a little westernised but are scared of the numerous rubbish-looking pizza places etc, just come here, sit in the courtyard and enjoy genuinely excellent med food. There are a lot of fairly tacky-looking tourist restaurants about (both western and vietnamese) but... More

Food is pretty good. The exterior and interior design looks great. Service is attentive. Basically nothing to complain. Would go there again, if there wouldn't be so many other fine and better restaurants in hoi an.

We were (very strangely) the only visitors that evening. Had a sea-food platter and also deep fried sardines with aioli. Staff were very professional, sweet and helpful and the food was absolutely fantastic. The prices were low for european standards, but expensive in Vietnamese standards.

The food was fantastic and the setting was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, particularly for a romantic meal in Hoi An.
