I went to the Cargo Club restaurant as part of a family of four. The food was good but the service was exemplary. I had quite a violent cough and the waitress brought me hot water to calm my chest all night, very thoughtful. The pancakes were also amazing as there seems to be a bakery downstairs which does very... More

Another extremely good quality restaurant from the owner of the Morning Glory. I highly suggest you try both! This is definitely one of the best restaurants I have been to in Vietnam, expecially for the quality of the food. The service is ok: the waiters do not speak english, but it's easy to order/pay/etc. There is a second floor, but... More

Part of the morning glory set up ? Sadly I had high expectations, having loved morning glory. Cargo is a poor relation in terms of food. Lovely setting though on the balcony upstairs

We enjoyed our 3rd visit to The Cargo Club while we were in Hoi An, lovely atmosphere and great food. On this evening I really felt like a good steak and that is certainly what I got, Australian fillet steak with a pepper sauce and dauphinoise potato, truly scrumptious. My husband and I had a starter and main course each... More

Good location right in old town. Stopped in twice to have dessert and coffee. Dessert were good, not great. Service was okay, not sure they said a word to us either time, but they were always somewhere close so no real wait for anything.

There were the best meals I had in Vietnam. Yeah its pretty pricey, but treat yourself. Oh all things to have in vietnam, one of them was a seafood linguini and it was to die for.

What you see is what you get. The banana flower salad was wonderful. A cafe rather than a restaurant - we sat in the street and watched the evening passers by - but good food and good value.

Lonely Planet recommended Cargo to me as a great budget option patisserie. Sceptical I went ahead, it really is a beautiful cafe and the food was amazing (mostly western) however if you're on a budget it's not so cheap, a perfect treat though if you're in need of a pick me up. Worth a trip!

After having been in Asia for a while, we decided that we wanted to have some Western food for a change. I thought I picked something nice (fish with cous cous), but it's always a disappointment when you know you can make it better yourself. I wish they had told me that some of the ingredients were out of season,... More

We stopped here for a coffee and cake after a big walk around town. It's a lovely place with the most amazing selection of cakes. We had the passion fruit meringue and an 'apple crispy' which we both excellent.
