Excellent lunch by the river

Fantastic set menu by the river. Beautiful surroundings and ambiance. We were only diners there and eat to the sound of frogs barking.

This restaurant was highly recommended....the ambiance, the location, the gardens and staff all deserved the praise. Very romantic and beautiful looking gardens and on the river, but that is where the kudos stopped. Cocktails very expensive but well made.....now the food. Well what can we say.....awful...awful...awful. clay pot pork and beef with ginger and onion were not acceptable at $260000 vnd... More

Remarkable views across the river, lit by lanterns after sunset, landscaped gardens at rear, arguably a romantic setting. The menu is Vietnamese - no spag bol for tired tourists here - and the staff very friendly. The service is not snappy - heaven knows how long one has to wait if the place is fully booked. But we were very... More

A lovely dining experience in the garden with very good food and pleasant staff. We came here for a lunch and enjoyed it so much we came for dinner the following evening.

Brother's Cafe is located in an amazing and beautiful historical french colonial building alongside a stunning river setting. Here you will experience the difference between ordinary food and very good food, accompanied by excellent service. Brother's offer a wide selection of dishes ranging from $9 to $15 aud with standard size portions. If you are looking for something with ambience... More

This is our fifth visit to Hoi An. Remember when Brothers Cafe was only restaurant within two blocks. They were superior. Today very average food quality. The grounds are beautiful in the garden along the river. The prices are very high 300,000 - 400,000 per main. Our chicken dish was tough and chewy. Go for the garden and ambience not... More

We recently spent 2 nights in Hoi An, Vietnam, whilst doing a Wendy Wu tour. Our guide took us to Brother's Cafe for dinner on one of those nights. We entered the restaurant and then walked through gardens and over bridges to reach their courtyard dining area. We sat at a candlelit table, outside with a view of the river... More

We enjoyed this restaurant, a little bit more upmarket than some of the other places we ate. Nice to sit on the river and watch the passers by. Great food, although a bit expensive by Vietnamese standards.

The location of the restaurant is great. It's just outside the city chaotic center which makes is perfect for a romantic dinner. The dining area was the best we experienced in Hoi An. Lovely lighting with vegetation and water just besides the tables. The staff gave us good service and the food was tasteful. Somewhat more expensive as expected. We... More
