We were just looking for a quick late lunch and stopped here since they had mango salad (fell in love with this dish while in vietnam) and it looked cozy and nice. We left very disappointed... I travelled around Vietnam long enough to know what good quality food is and it is definitely not found here. We ordered fresh spring...

The meal is ok/mediocre, portions are extremely small (4 shrimp came with fried shrimp dish). Sent back fried fish in banana leave, the fish was extremely dry.
They use beans corn and carrot in every dish (we had about 7).
Service is mediocre.
Price is high, as high as any "good" restaurant in Hoi An, but you are sitting on...

Madam Phuong is a great cook and such a warm, friendly person. She aims to please, even going out of her way to stock my favourite cheese for the duration of my stay! We had breakfast here every morning after we discovered it and Madam Phuong would always give us some complimentary fruit afterwards. Madam Phuong makes you feel like...

I found this place by accident, it happened to be right across of the hotel I was staying at. The owner is incredibly friendly and warm person. She always greets people passing by her restaurant and wishes a good day even if they do not drop in. I had a few meals at the Light Candle (mornings) and Dung (evenings)....

Mama is the lady who owns and runs this establishment. A terricic cook and a great character. She also has another place that she has just opened up over the other side of the river. Light Candle is usually only now open for breakfast and lunch. For dinner go and visit her new premises at Dung Restaurant, opposite the middle...

The food was ok. Not fantastic and the service wasn't much better. I would eat somewhere else as they are so many better places in Hoi An.
This restaurant is a favour of so many expats who live and work in Hoi an. It is only open for breakfast and lunch but so worthwhile searchng it out. The food is always fabulous the prices amazing and the owner of the restaurant is a lovely host. Anytime dinning here is pure pleasure.
we were very excited to go here after reading the reviews. turned out it was down the road from our hotel. Talk about disappointing!! Pleasant little place and we got a beer and menu reasonably quickly. After ten minutes waiting to place an order I had to go out to the kitchen to find a waitress. We ordered the garlic...
