Scenic view, good food!

The food so as the staff were great!! Besides, the view is awesome!!! The only bad thing is that it closes at midnight. 😊

We went for a family lunch and ordered the tourist menu. The waiter was very friendly. The quality of the food and drinks were not suited for this restaurant being part of a 5 star hotel. We had to wait a long time for the food. Only main dish, one drink and dessert are included in this expensive menu. I... More

We stopped in for merienda and had a great experience good service, very attentive, great view of the river; based on this we decided to return the following night for dinner. We wished we hadn't, our waiter was exceptional bad, had an attitude that service was not part of his job, nor did he have to have a working knowledge... More

I stayed at the Radisson and the package included the room and what the locals called "the tourist menu" ("menu turístico") consisting of an entrée, dessert and a non-alcoholic beverage. You can choose to have this menu for lunch o dinner. The experience was quite disappointing. There are no choices given. There is only one option for entrée and one... More

For a restaurant in a major hotel (Radisson) this restaurant is very disappointing. The service was terrible from the begining. We were niether greeted or shown to a table but rather had to ask if it was okay to sit down. We were upsold on the wine with out any acknolgement and the price was more than double. The food... I do not normally spring for hotel food - it's normally overpriced and underwhelming. Del Carmen is very good and a welcome break from that mold. In short, the beef carpaccio is hands down the best I have had in the country of Uruguay after my many trips. My pasta was "ok", but my fiancee's salmon pasta was excellent. Prices... More

the breakfast buffet here was outstanding w/hot entrees of eggs, sausage, potato casserole, and waffles. Also had 4 different kinds of cereal, 2 different yogurts, and more fresh fruit than I've ever seen on a buffet. The bread selection was outstanding as well, along w/a couple of toasters, if you wanted toast, a deli tray of ham and cheese, and plenty... More

Service was good but food was disgusting: overcooked tenderloin, overcooked fish, undercooked creme brulee and not so good wine. The price is what you would expect from a 5* but not the quality. Stay away from this place!!!

The menu doesn't has a small variety of food that is very well prepared. The service is good and friendly. The prices are expensive. The ambiance is good with a lot of room and a beautiful view of the River Plate. It has outdoor seating on a balcony.
