Great bbq chicken

Walked past the night before & it was buzzing. We returned for lunch the next day. 700 pesos for a chicken breast, salad and a few drinks. Pretty pricy for a backpacker budget but it was nice and the portions were an ok size, I wouldn't say large, but we shared them anyway and went away satisfied.

We just strolled in the streets to find a restaurant. We saw a lot of locals on this one, so wr thought it cant be bad. We had to wait to get a table. I could not get a malbec wine in a glass but cabernet sauvignon was also good. The mashed potetoes/pure was exceptional. The ribs was nice but... More

This place came recommended from Let's go to Bueno Aires, on a budget. I could not be more happier. We, Family of 7 that includes 2 small children, had lunch their on Wednesday the 8th after our Ferry Ride over from Buenos Aires. The service was great. They really appreciated our patronage and showed it unlike some other places we... More

After two years in colonia, I can say that this was the best place in whole town. Steaks were perfect, service was good and fast. Try lomo with pepper sauce, cheese cake is also quite good.

The only real complaint against this restaurant is that the meat was not as tender as it should have been. I asked for a 'Pamplona' and it was tasty but slightly burned, and my gf asked for an 'Entrecot' (beef cut), and it was somewhat dry and tough, which a good entrecot should never be. Everything else was alright

Big dishes with tons of food. Loved the tripes and blood sausage. The meat was ok. It came a little bit cold.

We chose this restaurant on our first night in Colonia, because it was close to our hotel & looked busy (usually a good indicator of quality & value). Food was ok (1 steak, 1 chicken) & service was good, as was the ambiance, but there are much more characterful places for not many more pesos in the proper old town.
