Really enjoyed the passion fruit dessert with the nutella shake and the relaxing atmosphere is simply priceless, very kind server as well and they have cats running around which we enjoyed watching.

I visited Lentas Maravillas today and I am writing a review right away. Then you can guess what it means? :) MUST VISIT! Such an adorable and cozy place. You can take an outdoor seat or indoor seat which has a nice view of rio de la plata! Both options are recommendable. They have warmhearted service and awesome meals! I... More

We were saved from a rainy afternoon at this little coffee and cake joint. The owners are attentive and kind. Although opening hours starts at 2, they were in a bit earlier and let a group of slightly drenched visitors in early. We had coffee and a generous slice of a carrot cake which came with condensed milk. We stayed... More

This quirky restaurant was the most memorable part of our day visit to Colonia. Had a quiet and relaxing lunch in the lovely back yard overlooking the river, surrounded by trees and blossoms. The food was tasty and the atmosphere very informal - it almost felt like visiting a friend's house, including the delightful house cats.

I enjoyed so much having coffee and desert here that next day I came back for more. It is mostly a coffee/tea house bsolutely delicious home made desserts, great service and beautiful environment with a garden facing the river.

I'd read a lot about this place and absolutely wanted to visit it; unfortunately, it was closed when I went to Colonia this July but I went there last year (August 2013) with friends and everyone loved it. Went for the hot chocolate with vanilla and a desert (the pear tart is lovely and the lemon-chocolate one, to die for).... More

Lentas Maravillas was the highlight of our day in Colonia. After taking the ferry over from Buenos Aires, and running around from museum to museum, it was a pleasure to relax in Lentas' beautiful garden (featuring a view of the harbor) with tea and tasty pastries. The ladies who run the place are gracious and helpful. We highly recommend this... More

This was a great spot to grab a bite to eat. The views from the garden looking out to the river is stunning... You can get a better spot than this to watch the sun set. The service though was painfully slow and unresponsive. Maybe we were unlucky.... Maybe not. The price you have to pay is pretty expensive but... More
