The place is pleasant, but the food is disgusting!!!! I asked for shop suey de camarones, but the shrimps were totally cold. My husband ordered an entrecot, but first it was totally raw; afterwrds it came back incredibly over cooked!!! Ah, our first 2 choices weren't available any longer, so as the wine we asked for. I DO NOT recommend... More

This restaurant was recommended by our tour guide in our day trip from Montevideo. Colonia is a very nice city and I believe one can find a decent place to eat. We decided to follow the group and eat there and, for our disappointment, the food and service was terrible. I ordered chicken and my partner ordered fish. My dish... More

Food okay but they are con artists!! Added a 400 pesos charge for 'show optional' .... Must be for the guitar player we did not even listen too. Also add on their own tip for 200 pesos. A lunch for four and the bill was over $100. I am disgusted by these people!

A good place to eat pasta and Uruguayan meat in a walking day around Colonia de Sacramento. There is a good offer of wine and cheese.

Food was ok. A bit small portions and overpriced. When to settle the bill we were asked if we rather wanted to pay in cash for another bottle of wine. We paid by card. They were not either too keen to give us the receipt of the final bill. However, overall the service was fine. The waiter gave us good... More

Our waiter translated the Spanish only menu and we ordered one portion of pasta to share between the two of us. The pasta was just OK. When we got the bill we were unpleasantly surprised to be charged for two portions. Our waiter told us that he had misunderstood and pointed to the bottom of the menu where pasta for... More

We stumbled across this place as we wandered the old town and were sitting before we read the terrible reviews on trip advisor. We felt compelled to add our experiences after a very enjoyable lunch. The service was great, the decor stylish, the live guitar music charming and the food very good indeed. We ordered paella for two with an... More

Worst food experience on my Argentina/Uruguay trip. Only positive is location. Slow service, mediocre food, tasteless coffee.

We have been spoiled in Argentina and Uruguay with absolutely exceptional service across the board but this was the exception they were not attentive granted it was a late lunch around 3 but that's not out of the norm. Also thought it was pricey relative to other places in value

I will just get to it: great patio/street seating, wonderful ambiance. The rest is horrible. Pitiful service, awful food, and so expensive! Would definitely NOT recommend you spend any time here.
