Probably one of the best restaurant I have ever been to in Latin American ! Everything here is excellent : the food delicious and well presentated, a unique decoration, good music in background and a very simpathic owner. Even though it is a little bit more expensive than the other places, it is really worth it. And if you like... More

We were so lucky to eat here. It's currently the low season (April), so not all restaurants are open. We had our hotel call to confirm. There was only one other table in the restaurant, and Carlos, the owner, had opened the restaurant for them. He was the most gracious host. He was our waiter and our chef. We started... More

Yes, the setting is lovely and the service is okay, but the price is exorbitant from my perspective. We ordered modestly but the bill was still almost $100USD for lunch. Be sure and check the conversion before deciding to eat here. It is slightly more reasonable if using Uruguayan pesos but still expensive. Our pasta was overcooked and the rabas... More

A warm welcome by the charming host. The lambsrack melts in your mouth, the sauce exactly as it should be (though rare to find), delicious! My friend fell in love with the black ravioli/scampi and delicious sauce. Wine, in a place like this, ofcourse good. We had our lunch in the back of the pittoresque house in the old barrio,... More

It was a perfect lunch in a beautiful place, we shared mussels and a beef really delicious, even the better uruguayan wine that we ever tried. Service is as good as food. We surely will come back next time in Colonia.

This restaurant was recommended by friends in Montevideo for good reason. It was expensive but excellent. The husband-wife team take great pride in their food, service and presentations offering wonderful flavors thoughtfully blended on beautiful plates. I had the lamb with a perfect wine accompaniment.

We loves this place! What an experience! The are located just besides the Porton del Campo. The food is amazing (they have options for vegetarians) and the service... outstanding! Like most of the places in Colonia, they don't accept credit cards! We didn't know that and we didn't have all the cash needed to pay the bill (what a shame!!).... More

This restaurant offers very good food, with fresh ingredients. My lamb was excellent and the started (smoked salmon) was delicious, but my husband was slightly disappointed with the fish with shrimps and sauce course. The restaurant has character, with many personal trinkets. We paid for two people (one starter, two main courses, a desert, a glass of wine, water and... More

This was one of my favorite dining experiences anywhere. Simple, delicious food, great atmosphere and the owners are fabulous. They know how to offer great service without getting in the way, and very clearly wonderful people. I'm celiac (gluten free) and they had no problem accommodating. Definitely recommended!
