This restaurant was recommended by friends in Montevideo for good reason. It was expensive but excellent. This was one of my favorite dining experiences anywhere. Simple, delicious food, great atmosphere and the owners are fabulous. They know how to offer great service without getting in the way, and very clearly wonderful people. I'm celiac (gluten free) and they had no problem accommodating. Definitely recommended!
