Good food, clean restaurant

While in Sharjah, we were looking for a quick meal and decided to go to Kamat. While there are many south Indian restaurants around the area, Kamat by far is the best option for a casual/quick meal. Really good vegetarian food at a price you'll love. The food is very delicious and portion size is good. Try the Thali which is for only AED 20 but well worth it with a whole wide variety of veg dishes. Their puri's are amazing. Ambience is also very good and the staff are very well mannered and most helpful. Quite... More

I have had Thali couple of times & always been satisfied. All the food served by them was very good. I have had Lunch & Dinner both, everything was very satisfactory. Their staff was also very friendly & co-operative.

Kamat's is generally associated with South Indian food.. thats what I tried.. but was a bit disappointed with overall experience..the food didnt taste as fresh and tasty..waiters seem hurried and inattentive.. and some dishes took forever to come.. there are far better South Indian restaurants like Sangeetha in Sharjah

This is right on King Faisal road and close to other indian restaurants like Aryas, Gazebo etc. This is a pure veg restaurant. I saw good crowd here than the near ones. Food was tasty except gobi manchurian. We had malai kofta and paneer curry. Overall taste and service was good, but slightly costly. A tandoor roti costed Dhs.2.50 which... More
