we sat outside and although it was a nippy night we both still enjoyed ourselves. service was great, food was excellent, buggies were slow though but that is not their fault. happy all round.

Highly recommendable Thai food in the banyan tree resort. Good service, good food and nice atmosphere. Good value for money! I had the satay and beef, which both tasted great with lots of authentic flavors. Also the creme brûlée was delicious as a dessert.

As a resident of Ras Al Khaimah, it is good to find alternative locations to eat. The location of the Banyan Tree Al Wadi hotel makes a refreshing change from the coastal resorts. At this time of year the humidity can be too much to sit outside, but we arrived just before sunset and were able to have pre-dinner drinks... More

We ate here twice during our stay in Ras Al Khaimah and had great food on both occasions. The best bit is that if you are lucky you will get to see the White Oryx and Gazelles that come to drink at the watering hole in front of the restaurant. We were very lucky on both visits and it made... More

Had dinner and breakfast at this amazing thai spot. Some of the best I've ever had. Except for a minor dry prawn, the rest was terrific. Amazing coconut soup, phad thai, etc etc. Had breakfast there two days later, which proved to be as amazing. Food was a little saltier than I am used to, but in general an experience... More

We had a dinner in Saffron during our 2 nights stay in Banyan Tree Al Wadi and we LOVED it!!! Good pad thai, tom yam goong, duck curry (SUPERB), pineapple fried rice, etc. Didn't have room for dessert since we went all in on the appetizers and main courses...

Delicious creamy Thai green prawn curry. The duck dish a little weird as it had been minced! Get staff to book buggy home before you settle up as we had to wait a while for it to turn up.

Nothing to dislike. Make reservations to sit outside so you can watch the animals come down to the wadi.

The set menu at 350 aed represents excellent value. The food was fabulous- beautifully presented and authentic Thai cuisine. If it is still light, ask for a table near the front of the restaurant overlooking the sand dunes- there are lots of wildlife to spot.
