My husband and I went to Trader Vics while waiting for Moodz to get started. We initially had no intentions of having dinner there, but boy-oh-boy, aren't we elated that we did! We ordered the appetizer sampler and the Singaporean noodles. Both were delicious and more than enough to fill us up. We also had drinks from the bars ~... More

We visited the hotel with friends for a relaxing Saturday afternoon dinner and drinks. The setting was really lovely outside overlooking the pool. The food was very yummy and had very generous portions. The cocktails were delicious too and there was an excellent variety. Our young waiter for the night, Clay, did an excellent job of looking after us and... More

We visited the restaurant on our last night in Al Ain with my sister in law (she lives in Al Ain) the menu offered a great selection and in the end I opted for a curry, it was amazing! Huge portions and really good freshly cooked food. We also had cocktails that were reasonable priced and really really good. Parking... More

Having read some of the other reviews on here, perhaps my standards are lower than thiers, or maybe I'm just a bit more realistic. Myself and a colleague got a taxi here from our hotel (10 minute ride) on a recomendation from a friend who has recently returned to the UK after 3 years in UAE. We were offered a... More

This is a great place to go for a cocktail after work. The service is a bit slow but the drinks are great. The bar food is really good too.

I've been in Al Ain for 9 years and I always go to Trader for my crispy duck. We just had dinner tonight and as usual we were very pleased with the food. My husband and I had crispy duck and is always a pleasure to have there, I never get tired of eating it. Trader is one of the... More

I have been in Al ain 5 years and am always happy to introduce friends and family to the restaurant. The staff are friendly and welcoming, with special reference to Fonseca for his great cocktails. I have always found the food to be of excellent quality. Once again cannot praise the staff highly enough they are a credit to the... More

Al Ain not exactly awash with decent restaurants so Trader Vics is a good option if you find yourself in the city. Food and service gloriously predictable.

I really enjoy the service and level of interaction of Trader Vic's staffs. Everyone is attentive into details and they good customer relation, especially the Restaurant Manager and Alex. Food are so good and they have huge varieties to choice.

The big problem here is the smoke - I had avoided the place for years for this reason alone but went back recently with a big group of friends and it was worse than I remembered. That said, the food was OK (if a little pricey for what it was), and the staff were very accommodating - moving tables to... More
