I learned the hard way last season that when a restaurant is operated by a drunk chances are the kitchen is a disaster as well. What can I say. We rent a few places across HWY 27 at Sea Crest on the Ocean and we hang out all day on the beach, then we shower up and WALK ACROSS to Cyrils with about 8-10 of us and hang out there till @ least 10 at night. I love there seafood (mussels, shrimp, or baked claims)... more

Food was certainly not memorable and a bit pricey for paper plates. Service was awful and slow. Frozen drinks were tasty but we were afraid to drink them as there were bits of UFO's (unidentified floating objects) in them. The owner is truly a character and an experience not to be missed. Tuna was overcooked, side vegetables were from a can, rice was likely Uncle Ben's, "macadamia nut crusted mahi-mahi" was a tiny dried shriveled piece of blandness. And incredibly overpriced (most main courses were $25-$36). I would definitely stay far, far away. more

I love this place Started going there --when my kids were little my family used to go to Montauk on vacation. Was there the second day after they opened.
