We had dinner at Deva hotel during our visit to Konya in December 2014. The food was fine, quick service. However the bill came out to be a total shock, in comparison to the usual rate for food in Turkey. They even served things without our order and add it to the bill !!! For me i would never choose... completely robber, a restaurant that did not deserve the money. Before being served catalog. If you prefer to eat at $ 10, you can pay more than 3 times the account. when you ask them why the account has big difference , shameless people can say that they brought up more servings.

My husband and I spent two nights in Konya. It should have been just one! After visiting the Mevlana Museum across the street from this restaurant, we needed to have some lunch. Many people do not speak English in Konya so we were just happy to find someone with an English menu and some English as I needed a vegetarian... More

Had excellent dinner and pretty good lunch here not having read any TA reviews. At dinner had Tandir Kebap and lentil soup and salad - all were really good. Kebap was 'fall-apart' tender and tasty and bread fresh out of the oven served with parsley and raw onion. Meal was cheap and service pretty good (even though we were unsure... More

We were hungry and we wanted to sit on a terrace, that's the reason we went here for lunch. We only had pide here, which was ok, but not great. I hadn't read the comments on Tripadvisor at that moment but I can imagine this restaurant takes advantage of tourists... Wouldn't have gone there if I had known.

It was nice to have a restaurant that was open and had an entire menu available during Ramadan. It is right near the Mevlana Museum, so it had nice scenery, but don't expect anything of excellent quality. Stick with the Turkish pizza or the lamb kebab thingy. It looks like a sandwich on the menu, but it's just a greasy... More

This place was perfectly awful. We were limited in where we could eat in Konya because of Ramadan, and they did seat us and let us order ala carte, but the food was bad. I got the oven braised lamb kabob and it was just a hunk of gristle with a bit of meat hanging from it. The bread was... More

I was in Konya and decided to go in just to see if the reports were still true. And yes, they are still doing it. I had tea only, but I saw what was happening as they argued with a couple (in Turkish) over a bill that was no doubt intentionally inflated. This place continues to occupy a privileged spot... More

I'm warning the tourists who visits Konya Mevlana Museum there is a restaurant near Mevlana Museum called DEVA RESTAURANT never ever go there. Its a terrible and expensive restaurant. The foods are bad, the waiters are unrespectfull and their performans are terrible. For example you want 100gram meat they bring you 300gram meat and they charge it like that. The... More
