This is a lovely restaurant for fish near the busy sea side of Izmir near the port. The stuff and especially the owner are very helpful and polite, eager to describe dishes in detail. For starters they bring you a tray with samples and you chose what you like. They have a big variety of fresh fish for a very... More

I visited the restaurant a couple of days ago with my friend. The service was great and the food was cooked nicely. We had the squash blossoms, calamari and Sea Bass. The squash blossoms had good flavor and the squid was crunchy and fresh. The sea bass was grilled delicately and had good flavor. It's a much visit if you... More

We were there last week for a business dinner and enjoyed a lot. Their food is excellent fresh and many new dishes from sea foods. They are in the heart of the city, Kordon. Definitely will go again:)

We were greeted, we were served, we were definitely wined and dined. The owner came and spoke with us at the end of our meal and was so kind. He gave us (lots) of extra dessert on the house because we complimented it and more tea and coffee. The meze were good (first ones we've had in Turkey so hard... More

We were created by an English speaking man who was possibly an owner or top manager. He showed us the display of fished and asked for our preferences. Another set of staff showed us a fantastic display of appetisers and coordinated them with our beverages selection. For beer drinkers we received beautiful sardines, a bean salad, and a yogurt with... More

Yengec is a seafood restaurant that sits on the water with fishing boats and pleasure boats docked in front of it. We were treated to a magnificent full moon rise with our dinner. We washed the meal down with Raki. The restaurant has a very large selection of mezes, literally dozens. Our group of 6 had 5 or 6 and... More

This was the best meal we had in Izmir. We were lucky enough to meet the owner, Kerim, and his son the night before and he made our trip so special. The grilled calamari was incredible. We also had artichokes wrapped around sea bass which was to die for. Every course was so delicious and many of the preparations were... More

Our hotel sent several business travelers that evening, and we were warmly welcomed. We don't speak Turkish, so a lady helped us select fish from the cooler and recommended items. Calamari and shrimp starters were excellent, as were our fish dinners. A man offered us a special dessert, and the caramel souffle was delicious.

First of all, I must admit that It was the greatest experience that I had in Izmir / Turkey. Everything was great and I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart. At the end of the night The Chef came to my table and offered me a dessert which was so delicious. I hope to go... More
