Wonderful köfte

Maybe the best köfte in Buca. Many people travel to Buca in their lunch time in order to eat there. Not a big variety but it worths for köfte and yoğurt.

It is one of the traps inside the souk. If you are hungry, it is a place to get filled up. The food was good enough, but had nothing special to it. Not many spoke English at the restaurant, but one managed quite well and i got what I ordered.

Have been to this place many times whenever we were in Izmir, as now. Every time we ate at Bergama Koftecisi, we left with a longing to come again. If you are a visitor to Izmir or a surrounding area, don't miss the apportunity to try the tastes of this place. Excellent meat balls. Turkish food is very delicious, period.... More

We visited the restaurant that's located in the bazaar in central Izmir. It looks simple from the outside but their meatballs are their specialty and taste crazy good. Friendly staff ang affordable prices are also a big plus and I always make it my priority to come visit when I can. I recommend this restaurant highly if you like Turkish... More

I guess more than 15 years passed when I first ate here...It was located close to NATO HQ in Sirinyer district. If you are coming Izmir from abroad it is hard to find, the best way to go there would be use of taxi. It is a tradesman restaurant and they serve amazing meetballs, spicey meatballs and meatballs with cheese...I... More

spicy meatballs are a specialty in balkans and western turkey. these guys are one of the best places you can have them. located in a out-of center but busy neighborhood, their lunch service is one of the best in izmir. i don't think they serve dinners. frequently visited by business people, just for a quick lunch, this place is not... The place is next to NATO HQ. Although it has a thick meatball, it is very very delicious. You have to eat special desert after meal which is named as "Kemalpasha Desert".

Meatballs and beans and rice and chicken pieces, eggplant and tomatoes. SImple but well spiced and cooked. Just on the corner opposite the jewellers in the main street. Great for restorative lunch after exploring, try the yoghurt drink, salty and a bit sour but very refreshing! Rice pudding also worth saving space for!

We were a group of 4 persons doing a tour of Tukey. After visiting the ruins in Pergama, our guide called a local friend who recommended this restaurant not far from the ruins. What a surprise. The food is Turkish of course, but the meatballs were those made form local recipes. The bean salad was delicious as was our entire... More
