Good value

Friendly staff, nice meal, reasonable prices. Right in the main street and also free wifi, short distance from where we stayed.

There is only one place to eat traditional good food on cesme. And Imren is the place. The best service. Tastiest food. You will spend the evening here. All the locals are eating here too. Has to be good.

We stopped here at midday for lunch which is early for Turkish people to have lunch but the restaurant was open and they have a menu of pre prepared meals ready. They have plenty if variety of mezes ready and mains consisting of meat dishes and vegetarian meals. We received a friendly greeting and had all the meals explained to... More

Ok food but cheeky management and waiters charge hidden costs. Be careful and ask upfront what are you will be paying for the water they just automatically pour into your glasses, without even asking. We paid 11 try for a small bottle.

First off, the prices are a bit high for what you order in comparison with another restaurant offering similar "house cooked" meals (but they had already closed in the evening when we wanted to go (proof of good their food is, because they close when none is left)). The meals are very good, very authentic Turkish cuisine. A must if... More

We ended up here after looking for pla'Ce for lunch & finding it closed. I was not expecting anything much because by then we were hungry and just wanted something to eat. We ordered a steak dis & cheese golzeme, both were perfectly cooked. It was very pleasant to sit out on a little cobblestone street & eat, reminded me... More

Imren has three different locations. The original one is on the main street of the city of Cesme, about 200 meters up from the harbor. Another is actually along the coast and more difficult to find, perhaps 1 mile distant from its sister store. A third is about 7 miles back east toward Izmir in a village called Alacati. The... This is an old classic restaurant in Cesme, still very authentic in its traditional 'lokanta' style food: every single thing we tried was good, from vegs to the oven lamb, to shish kebab, a bottle of red for 45TL... But the dessert was a dream: a artichoke heart with cinnamon and hazelnuts, with cream and mint, super! I really recommend... More
