A little lunchtime treasure

The food was simple but tasty, authentic Turkish fare at its best, just lift the lids, point to what you want and anticipate being served something delicious. Mother chef speaks excellent English and is really concerned if you set something aside

We had a delicious mixed plate (okra, beans, baked aubergine, chicken, rice and cous cous) couldn't have asked for nicer food or people.

We had dinner at Zeytin Cafe with a group of friends. We tried a mix of appetizers and entrees and everything was in line with expectations. One of us got the kebap in the pot, and she was the one who broke the pot. Service was good and the waiter had great humor. Recommended!

Always fresh prepared good local Turkish food, with friendly service. Just a pitty the menu is often the same. Some more variation would be nice.

This was one of the best meals of our 10 day tour of Turkey. The setting is quite plain and homey. We had several mixed plates of the foods the owner had prepared for that day, plus a salad plate and a plate of her delicious tiny meat filled dumplings in a yogurt sauce drizzled with a chili oil. This... More

First.. service was A+, very kind, welcoming and respectful staff. We (gf and I) really appreciate this from the start (hard to find in touristy places around turkey apparently). Second, the food was great, tasty, made right there behind the counter and with a home made taste, local food. Everything was delicious and very well priced, the way it should... More

Delicious food, the best we've had in Turkey! A family-run restaurant where the mum home cooks all meals and her family provides the service. All staff were welcoming and accommodating. There is no menu as the dishes change each day which is fantastic. You can get a mixed plate which has a bit of everything - it is a very... More

One of the best meals on our 6 week honeymoon through Europe. Like eating in their house, fresh menu daily, close to centre of town.

We found the restaurant while looking for local food to eat. We were pleasantly surprised that it was a family owned place and the whole family was there taking care of us. Everything was cooked by the mother who was happy to see we enjoyed her cooking. From the service to the food everything was great. This is must visit... More
