The food was of course great, but we were impressed and touched by the hospitality of the family that owns the restaurant -the father is proud of the family and very friendly and kind, mother is quiet but beautiful, always smiling and a great cook, the daughter is the sweetest girl in the world! They walked us to the bus... More

Food was good and the owner very friendly. Highly recommended. We just walked down the street looking for a place to eat and my wife said, I like this place. Has a good energy and she was right. Great choice.

We had dinner at Zeytin on 12th July. Tired from a long air travel and lack of sleep we were looking for 'decent' vegetarian food when someone recommended Zeytin and without a 2nd thought we walked in to the restaurant and felt like we have walked into a home kitchen. Were very happily offered a full vegetarian meal which was... More

Although finding the place was a bit challenging it was well worth the effort. When we came in the owner of the restaurant made us feel at home. The food served is earthy, unpretentious, and delightfully tasty. We really appreciated the caring service provided by the wait staff. We had the mixed plate (rice and a variety of Turkish vegetarian... More

We had the best Apple tea in Turkey and a yummy home cooked meal. Prices are very decent and even her rose syrup she used for the dessert was home grown and infused. She takes great pride in her cooking and the daughter was very helpful. Many thanks for such pleasant meal experience.

This is a lovely, small restaurant tucked amongst the busiest street of Urgup in between banks, shops and other cafes. The lady owner is a local of Urgup and cooks fresh daily of the best tasting home cooking. This is not your standard 'kebab' or 'meat' restaurant you would normally be exposed to. More for the local experience seekers.
