This is so far the best restaurant we have eaten in in Capadoccia . My family has an Asian heritage and we eat a lot of rice. The kind of rice they have is the same jasmine rice that we are used to. The food is served family style. The cooked food is displayed on a counter and all they... More

Menu changes almost daily but always a wide selection of tasty foods to choose from. Friendly owner and staff. Always a place for me to stop at when in Ürgüp.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant. We loved it. Great lentil soup. I've been trying to duplicate this soup since I've been home, but haven't been able to get it right yet. Everything was very cheap compared to other places we had been for traditional Turkish food. The staff didn't speak much English but we figured it out. He was very... More

Here you order at a counter and your food is served to you at your table. They have a limited menu of local foods that were quite good. A pleasant and inexpensive meal.

Delicious Typical Turkish home made food, small local restaurant owned by a family, the mother and daughter in law doing the cooking and the son serving, extremely clean (everywhere), speaking english and German, kind helpful people, nothing fancy or glamourous but real essence of combination of well cooked tasty local food and the most gentle serving

If you are in the centre of Urgup and feel hungry, rush to this unpretentious but excellent little restaurant, where each day they cook a number of specific dishes and a delicious sweet. Extremely clean and cheap.

Its a nice place where you'll get a wholesome meal at a reasonable price. Its not gourmet stuff but soul food and quick service. And you can be sure that whats being served has just been cooked coz they make only a certain quantity and once its over you cannot have more

I'm not sure how to shower enough praise on this little place. As others have described, it is a family-run restaurant with a menu that changes daily based on what is in-season and they have decided to cook that day. The owners are extremely friendly and functionally speak a number of languages, which can help reduce the anxiety of ordering... More
