Hidden behind a stone wall there is the most exquisite restaurant where the food is gathered from organic garden ... Cooked in the traditional clay pots ... Accompanied by fantastic local wines .. Fabulous family run business with a few rooms you can also stay in. Could not recommend more highly ...

We watched dusk descend upon the beautiful and peaceful village as we ate a huge multi-course meal cooked just for us. The soup and first course were delicious; we especially liked the smoked eggplant and the sarma. We were already pretty full before the meat came for the main course, and were completely stuffed by dessert. We had tried many... More

While in Cappaddocia, our guide recommended this little restaurant. We had to take a little cab ride, but it was really worth it. It is a small restaurant/hotel, and we were taken care of by Okan, and his family runs the restaurant/hotel. He explains to you what they have that evening and they just bring it out to you. The... We visited Aravan Evi because it was recommended in Lonely Planet. We were well looked after by the young and recently qualified manager, whose mother provided some excellent home cooking.

Make it a priority to include a lunch or dinner, or both, at the Aravan Evi Hotel and Restaurant. Graciously provided by the Ozgan family, the setting of Ayvali village is only surpassed by the quality of the superb dishes and service. It is difficult to describe the best food we had in Turkey, the produce grown on their own... More

We were here for lunch and what wonderful surprise. One of our best meals in Turkey. This small restaurant, surely one of the few things of note in Ayvali, offers wonderful food in a pleasant setting with good service. The offer a fixed menu for lunch and dinner and virtually all hot food is prepared in their tandoori - on... More

We went to the Aravan Evi Restaurant last night for dinner and were treated to an unusual and fantastic experience. This is a small restaurant / Inn about 20 minutes from Urgup by car, located in the small and quaint village of Ayvali. Our GPS took us to the front of a small storefront where locals we playing some type... More

This family run small restaurant is located in a tranquil village. It is very down to earth but very clean, It serves the best examples of local specialities. We enjoyed every dish they served. Better to call in advance.
