Good Korean food in Turkey

There were more than 4 main courses when we visited the restaurant. The side dishes were good and we had 2 rounds. The mains were good though we found the beef soup a bit bland and we needed to add salt. The beef soup at the other Korean restaurant in Goreme was better though their side dishes... read more

I ordered beef tail soup, which is supposed to be cooked with beef one and thereby is white, as shown on the menu. However, it is clear soup like water added pepper and eggs, slices of beef, and that's it! I could not believe that I had to pay 35 Lira for this horrible food. The noodles were awful, so... More

I went to Evil Eye restaurant about a week ago and it was really horrible. I ordered bibimbap which was ok but bulgogi and yookgyejang were really horrible. I also visited Seoul Jung in Istanbul and was very very satisfied with their food but this place was a huge mistake. Bulgogi seemed like it was cooked in the morning and... More

We sought sanctuary from a thunder storm here - very welcoming host and wood burning stove. Serve superb Turkish pottery kebaps here too whilst my husband enjoyed his korean dish- so we were both happy with our meal.

After reading the reviews here, I spent the last six months drooling and dreaming of the day we would make it to Cappadocia, just so I could eat Korean food again. We finally visited the restaurant on October 11. We were disappointed to find that their Korean Menu has been reduced to 4 items, the other items were permanently crossed... More

This restaurant saved our lives!! This is the best restaurant that I found in Cappadocia, the chef/owner is very nice and helpful. We had 3 meals there. Taste of real Korean food and the price is fair. Highly recommend..

My wife and I stopped by Evil Eye after reading over the menu outside. We're huge fans of Asian food and haven't found many good places in Turkey. Evil Eye is an exception. The owner spends 6 months out of every year living in South Korea, so he's very familiar with how to prepare the dishes. The tastes were excellent... More

Evil eye was a nice change from Turkish food. It came close to an Asian experience which made it a nice choice. The chef was sweet and very accommodating. I had kimchee cucumbers were very good. The corn salad was a lovely surprise as well as the roasted glazed peanuts. The burgogi was served on a bed of rice was... More

We were looking for some spicy food in Cappadocia and this restaurant met our needs, Recommended for those looking for more Asian, HOT food. The view from the restaurant is great too, we would eat here again if ever we are visiting these parts again.

After a short time in Goreme, you realize there are few options beside Kebobs, casseroles, lentil soup, clay pot etc., and pizza. Mustafa Yildiz knows this, so he offers the only Korean food in town. He's a smart man! The bibimbap will taste like heaven. The ramen looks pretty spicy. It's not fast service - when I was there, it... More
