Very pleasant meal

This was our first restaurant meal when we arrived in Goreme and we really enjoyed it. We nipped in to book as we passed in the afternoon. At this time of year it is very quiet in Goreme but I would certainly say you need to book at a busier time of year as it is a very small restaurant.... read more

This place is fairly good and has a nicer atmosphere. The staff are friendly. You can see that they pride themselves on good local ingredient and food. Having lived in Turkey for the past 4 years and tasting local foods from East to West, for me the food was rather average. With specialized restaurants popping up in Istanbul on a... More

We didn't have a reservation when we walked into the restaurant but the owners were more than happy to seat us. The entrance was quite hidden, we thought we went through the back door of the restaurant. The main dishes only listed chicken, lamb or beef and we were quite puzzled. So the (I assume) owner kindly took us into... More

On our last night in Goreme we decided to try this restaurant. It came highly recommended by a fellow traveller. We stopped by early in the day to make a reservation as we were told they were very popular and also had limited seating. Having looked at the menu on the board outside we had decided to have a plate... More

Really enjoyed the ambiance. This was just plain fun- sitting on pillows in a cave while eating scrumptious food! In 7 months of travel, this is one of my husband and my favorite meals.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and small without being cramped. All of the staff were extremely friendly, had perfect English, and gave us recommendations on food options based on how hungry we were and what types of food we liked. We enjoyed a chat and a laugh with them and we weren't hurried out, even though the kitchen was closing,... More

Top deck was hands down the best meal we had in Turkey. The restaurant is adorable with great ambiance and friendly staff. The food is absolutely phenomenal. We had the mezze plate (the eggplant mezze was our favorite and surpassed all of the other eggplant dishes we've had), I had the vegetarian meal and my friend had the lamb. Both... More

It was difficult to found the restaurant but once there we taste the medium mezze and lamb sigara. If you are not too hungry mezze with bread are perfect.

This place is a tourist attraction. Honestly could not recommend it. If it had been lower down on Tripadvisor, I would give it 2 stars, but as number 1 - we expected more. Turkey has amazing food and service and this place fell bellow par for someone that has been here more than a day or two. I asked if... More

Only for tourists. Food was average at best. You can get this food In most Turkish chain restaurants across the world. Service was average. Waiter was that classic 'funny turk' that was not funny at all. He's the only waiter with a beard... So why would you go? - first time eating turkish - want a normal dinner - like... More
