Even the local cats line up for food here. We had to step over a couple of them to open the door at the entrance. A chorus of "Welcome" from nearby staff greeted us and we proceeded into a large cave room that featured a roaring fire and myriad diners. What a wonderful respite from the icy outside air on... We didn't plan on eating here. we saw it on TripAdvisor and was just going to look at it. When we arrived it was around 5:45 and they were preping for their dinner service. They also said they are booked for 2 days. As we turned to leave they called us in and said if we can be done within... More

This "hole in the wall" was truly a memorable experience. You can relax and enjoy your food on comfy cushions or at a table. The service is wonderful, we were greeted immediately and didn't even need a reservation (it is December which feels like low season here). The waiter was informative about the Turkish cuisine and all of the food... More

We went here because of Trip Advisor reviews. Cute little restaurant, friendly staff, & lovely atmosphere. The Memes dishes were really beautifully executed. The Lamb Shanks were very tasty. It's a lovely little restaurant to enjoy in its environment. We ate well.

We went to this restaurant on a cold and snowy night and found it to be the perfect respite! It is family-owned and operated and we were served by the daughter. The lentil soup was out-of-this-world! We then had the appetizer plate, which was delicious and finished with the most brilliant lamb shank. This meal was outstanding and far-surpassed our... More

Hidden in a narrow ally, it's a small place , but it's huge on taste and hospitality . From starter to main course and desert,, no flaw whatso ever . I walked out smiling :) it was a pleasure to have dined there .

We attended for dinner and walked in without a reservation. I suggest you book a reservation before going, we got lucky and I am not sure it is the case for everyone who shows up. This is a family restaurant where the father is the chef, the mother works the kitchen and one of the daughter worked as a server.... More

The cosy n warm set up, friendly staff, mouth watering food, awesome house wine, overall eating in a cave experience was splendid. We got pretty late but they were kind enough to serve us. Surely not to be missed.

Okay, this restaurant is almost the opposite of what it's name suggests. It's not on top of anything, in fact it's more like a cozy underground cave restaurant, and there is no deck - anywhere. What you will get there is good personal service, lovely cozy atmosphere complimented by perfectly chosen music at the right volume. Authentic and comfortable decor... More

This adorable and friendly family serves up some of the best food in Turkey. We loved the cave-like setting, but the food shined most of all. Not to be missed!
