A wonderful clay pot experience

It was convenient for us as our hotel room was just next door, 20 paces away. The lamb was tender but just not quite hot enough yet; it should have been cooked longer. The stuffed squash blossoms with rice was a cold dish and not to my liking. Not being savvy to Turkish food, I should have asked if it... More

Wasn't able to have pottery meal and unfortunately had to choose set menu which was value for money however my wife had very limited choice and ordered the stir fry beef which tasted like tough dog meat. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The owner of the restaurant actually fetched us to the place and we were really glad we chose to eat there for the food was really good. Kebab claypot was superb - meat was soft and soaked in rich gravy. Heavenly. What I really like is that they don't push u to order more than u can finish. And it... More

Pottery kebab is the best-known food in Cappadocia & the Nostalji Restaurant serves excellent lamb kebab. Since we were staying at the hotel, breakfast service was included & it was the best that I had in Turkey. The whole table was filled with mezes of fuit jams, nuts, cheeses and we also had a choice of eggs. Lovely place with... More

I took my Dad here for his birthday. The service was good and the testi kebabs were delicious! You have to call ahead with your order because the kebabs take 4-5 hours to cook.

We needed a quick lunch before our bus departed and wandered into Nostalji right at noon when most restaurants were not yet open. We were the only customers and were happy that we could order a clay pot lamb kabab as they had a few made up in advance. We were served quickly, and the lamb was excellent. The salad... More

We found this place on our way back from the sunset point and instantly fell in love with the view. The best view of the entire Goreme town! We loved this place so much that we went back on the 2nd day, although we had to really struggle to find it...but just couldnt settle for anything lesser...full marks from me!
